Anker Elite Dual Port 24W USB Travel Wall Charger PowerPort 2 with PowerIQ and Foldable Plug, for iPhone X / 8 / 7 / 7 Plus / 6s / 6s Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini 3 / mini 4, Samsung S4/ S5, and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YMZ4LD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_jVzfAbK6DQ0N2
For those that don’t want to spend that much for fast charging but want a quality product.
Crap - I was just about order another one :-(
EDIT: Still available from Asus/Amazon.
Here Is a chart comparing charging speeds. At best the one you linked will charge at 7.5 W. If it’s not compatible with some special Qi thing that Apple does it will charge at 5 W.
The best budget charger is to use an iPad charger. Or look for a charger that can supply 12 W per port like this which can charge 2 devices quickly. You can use the cable in the box and it works fine. For cars anker also makes this which does the same.

I highly recommend this power bank. It’s small and portable but very powerful. As a matter of fact I liked it so much that I bought a second one. But you have to buy the Anker usb power adapter. For some reason the battery wouldn’t charge with my Apple usb wall adapter.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ-Foldable/dp/B072HHW3GK/
I picked up an anker 24W 2 port charger in 2016 (amazon order searched for it). link
Charges the phone very quick for an $11 charger. I put my 8+ on the charger at ~3% yesterday and 15-20 minutes later it was at 35%.
Why people still use the 5W brick is kinda odd to me. I only use it for overnight charging where speed isn’t a requirement. Why would anyone buy the $70 brick + cable required to “fast charge” when you can just buy the $11 brick and get just as fast of a charge? At least normal people, if you’re buying gold Apple watches and 512GB iPhone XS Max then you’d probably buy the official brick.
E: fwiw Apple has a feedback page where you can voice your concerns/opinions. Might be worth the 2 minutes to you to say something.

Charger Power Cable for Microsoft Surface book,Surface pro 4,Surface Pro 3,Surface Pro 2,Surface Dock https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YGKV2XE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_cQ7KBb4P8SQMK
7 bucks on Amazon. 👍
You'll get the fastest charging from a USB C-to-C cable using a charger that supports USB Power Delivery. I believe the Pixel can charge up to 15w max and the Pixel XL 18w max. Google's official one is a solid choice for $35. Be careful with 3rd party cables/chargers as a lot of early USB C cables/chargers have had tons of issues.
If you don't want to spend the money, you can buy a fast charging USB A wall charger but you'll be capped around 12w. Anker sells a good one cheap for $13.
You can check out an app called "Ampere" to see the voltage and current your phone is being charged at.
A USB-C to Lightening adapter may work https://www.amazon.com/CONMDEX-Adapter-Converter-Charger-Compatible/dp/B07NQ54YGW/.
Edit: Oops, nevermind.. 1) Will it support charging and data sync? A) No,it only for charging.
Edit 2: This should do it "4. Support data + charging" https://www.amazon.com/AODSC-iOS-USB-Transmission-Compatible/dp/B07L6F4PQ7/.
Edit 3: I give up. "Complete and total waste of money. Does not do anything. DOES NOT CHARGE. DOES NTO SYNC. DOES NOT DO ANYTHING. Complete CRAP."
These are great for quick charging: http://www.amazon.co.uk/BlackBerry-Portable-PlayBook-International-Charger/dp/B004XKG7NM
They're high quality 2A chargers but available for a pittance because almost nobody actually bought a BB PlayBook. I use them for my phone principally, and it actually charges faster than the original one it shipped with. Plus, it keeps your USB data ports free.
BTW the device will only draw up to some maximum it supports, so you won't fry it.
Does MFI certification only apply to chargers? I was looking at this Anker Elite Dual port which doesn’t mention apple certified.
This is my favourite, though maybe that's the one you already have.
Get two Anker plugs like these. One for bed and one for desk. Easily one if my fav features.
Your overclock is pretty high. Over voltage 6, force turbo and a fan. You shouldn't see the lightning bolt at all. It's either dial your settings down or upgrade the power source.
https://www.amazon.com/Tablet-Ac-Adapter-Google-Nexus-Transformer-BlackBerry-Phone-Power-Cord/dp/B00IJKG9R6
Pretty sure this is an ISO standard part. It's called a figure 8 cable or something like that.
https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Power-Cable-Microsoft-Surface/dp/B00YGKV2XE
Its a great deal.
Don't updates its OS past 4.4.4 KitKat. Android L will make the N72012 damn near unusable. Marshmallow OTA isn't available for the 2012, but last I checked you can find it online.
Likely, the first thing that will fail on it is the USB port (in a year or two). To reduce the number of times you have to plug it in, get one of these docks LINK. You're going to want to shop around - $70 is outrageous.
I went for this one :
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B076P4P93T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Works excellently, does a full charge of my pro 6.
Charges other things too, so it is handy.
How about the Kindle charger? It's small enough to fit in a pocket. http://amzn.com/B006GWO5WK
Also, http://amzn.com/B008KP6ASS might work as well, as it's all one piece.
With one of these (with appropriate mains power cord for your country)
That's just a 230v to 110v?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Monitors-standard-Hunterfield-distributed-reserved/dp/B002EKO7BM
How about that? That should be better right?
For your usb c cable, get this adapter
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NQ54YGW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_AJjzDbDPTRMT5
It comes with a string to tie onto your usbc cable
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YMZ4LD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_RIcbAbSWT31QA
Get this adapter. Problem solved.
My current setup, similar to what it sounds like you're looking for, all-in for under $35

Anker Wireless Charger and Anker Dual Port 24w Charger
I use this overnight because the wireless charger can only push 5w to the iPhone X. If I plug it in using a Lightning cable then I get the full 15w and my iPhone charges in 3 hours. I don't want to use high speed charging because I feel it hurts the battery.
I've used a bunch of the no-name Chinese wireless chargers and they either failed after a few months or they had a very small sweet spot when induction charging started.
My phone did the same after about a week, so I'm assuming it's just the charger. I bought this one and it works wonderfully :)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LCDT7FC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_rsLyzbTAN3K4R
Edit: it seems this one is cheaper, not sure why...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YMZ4LD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_yvLyzbQNGH3W8
I bought a used SP3 on ebay and the 3rd party charger with it was garbage (it caused problems with the SP3). Didn't know if it was the changer or the unit having the problem so I ordered a new charger on Amazon and it's been working fine ever since (been about 4 months). Here's the one I bought:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GPFM5GA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_kUXxCbBTTECDM
Highly suggest the Anker Powerport 2 or 4 (haven't tried the others) and make sure you have a good USB cable. However...this one is a BEAST!!!
http://www.amazon.com/Tablet-Ac-Adapter-Google-Nexus-Samsung-Galaxy-Asus-Transformer-Charger-Power-Cord/dp/B00IJKG9R6
Been singing the praises for a while now.
Try flipping the direction of the charging port. It's supposed to work both ways, but has been known to fail in one direction. One step further down the trouble-shooting path to avoid losing your investment, you could get one of these for $27 and resell it if it doesn't solve the problem.
Your other thought might be to buy a dual port USB plug that provide 10W to each USB outlet. Then run two long USB cables. That dual port plug will be very easy to find. example 1
>Is the direct DC power connector weak? It looks a little weak compared to a Thinkpad connector but maybe its fine.
It's not weak feeling to me at all. I came from a MacBook Pro with MagSafe which was exceptionally hard to break, so by nature it does seem weaker than that, but not bad
>Will this 98Wh USB-C battery charge it?
It might, but not quickly. They Vega models ship with 150w PSUs
>Is the official Spectre USB-C battery too expensive for what it is?
Yes. It looks like a 60w capable pack so a third party could match it but 60w won't charge it very quickly
>How is Linux working with the latest 4.18 or 4.19rc kernels and latest Mesa stacks?
>
>Has anyone had success with OpenSUSE Tumbleweed?
>
>Has anyone had success with Qubes (the normal non-Vega seems to work by report)
I have no idea, don't use linux
>Has anyone had good results with undervolting and what are their numbers?
I was able to run a 100mV undervolt that was fairly stable. CPU temps didn't get about 80c. Just up to the silicon lottery
>What kind of battery life could I expect with Linux using mostly Visual Studio Code, Firefox and mostly light-to-medium PHP in an Ubuntu VM? Maybe with 15-20 minutes of non-GPU assisted youtube.
I have no idea, in Windows I get about 5-6 hrs of Visual Studio Community
>Has anyone tried the Toast wooden skin? It seems pretty cool if I could get it for less. I'd prefer probably just a more fitting carbon skin but this does have charm. Does it interfere with thermals? Is it a stupid idea or is it cool?
I haven't
>Are the refurbished units more likely to be due to coil whine or a faulty case or just someone not liking the unit? Are the refurbished units of normal quality. I ask because they can be a hell of a price but I don't want to get a subpar unit that just got kicked right through the system without fixing it.
I personally didn't want to gamble since HP is not known for it's customer support. I imagine a lot are returns that are cleaned and repackaged, some are probably units that shipped with something defective and were rebuilt.
Ahh yes 2.1 is correct. I got this to use for my charger & it works well.
AFAIK Best Buy sells what appears to be the MS charger for $60
It looks like anything on Amazon is NOT an MS charger but a copy. If buying there I'd let the Amazon reviews be my guide. Kingdo is tagged as the Amazon Choice.
There's a newcomer "Ostrich" with lifetime warranty but Id be careful ... only 11 reviews all with five stars... sounds like fake reviews. Watch it for a while, see if it holds up.
If it's only you using the 10,000, it could be OK.
I carry a 20,000 mAh battery pack for myself alone, and on the AT there were a few instances where I came close to running out of juice.
And that's the AT. Where you're never more then a few miles from a road or civilization. And I'm a tech savvy kind of guy who doesn't waste power willy nilly.
It all depends on your usage, but if it was me, I'd up the capacity a bit - especially if your electronics are the primary means of navigation and they don't have replaceable batteries.
The whole "have and not need vs need and not have argument"
Regarding "quick charging", unless your device specifically supports it and you have the proper cables and chargers, the best you're going to do is pump as much juice into the device in as short amount of time as possible.
Your typical phone charger (think little white/black square with one USB port) is one amp, while a larger device charger is typically around two amps. In this situation more amps equals faster charging.
They do make slightly larger chargers that provide multiple two amp ports on them, I recently switched to this one. Can charge the two biggest batteries I have at once (typically the phone and battery pack), and not worry about having to chose one or the other.
On the AT I used a single two amp charger for my battery pack and devices, and came up short a few times (ran out of time charging and didn't get enough juice). What saved me was I had a large enough battery pack that I could make it work with what capacity I had left based on the number of expected days to my next stop.
Also, if you're going to Nero at all, it usually means leaving your devices to charge while you go run errands. If you can only charge one thing, you'll very likely run into the time crunch I mentioned above - being able to charge two devices at once helps solve that problem.
Also, some battery packs provide what's called "pass through" charging, which allows you to effectively daisy chain your devices and charge them all - plugging your battery pack into the wall charger, and your devices into the battery pack while it's charging.
If I was you, I'd do some napkin math on how many recharges you expect to get/need based on your devices and go from there. It's not 100% foolproof, so you can calculate a small percentage of energy transfer loss for weather and heat loss while charging, but basically take the mAh of each device you're bringing, multiply that by how many chargers you think you'll need during a given stretch of time, and add it all up. If that number is bigger then, or close to your battery pack's capacity, you're cutting it too close.
I love Anker! I have this bad boy and love it but it'll definitely be overkill for OP. From your link I'd suggest this one for OP.
I really like Anker brand products. Here is one that has USB-C and regular USB: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0721DV7YX
This is a cheaper one if you don't need USB-C: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YMZ4LD
This is a charger with a fixed cable but you won't beat it for the money
http://www.amazon.co.uk/BlackBerry-Portable-PlayBook-International-Charger/dp/B004XKG7NM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419358895&sr=8-1&keywords=blackberry+travel+charger
I really like the OEM dock.
You can't charge a surface pro with 5v it need 12v
With a fast search i found this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D4HAAL4?psc=1 and this https://www.amazon.com/Lizone%C2%AE-35000mAh-5-Ports-Portable-Microsoft/dp/B015VDLWUM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478534306&sr=8-1&keywords=surface+pro+battery+bank basically you need a battery bank that can output 12v ( with decent A like 2-2,5 ) and the cable
Here is the same unit on amazon in case you have prefer it to ebay. https://www.amazon.com/Tablet-Ac-Adapter-Google-Nexus-Transformer-BlackBerry-Phone-Power-Cord/dp/B00IJKG9R6 admittedly it is .09 cents more.
um, with a 12v 5A adaptor like this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/electronics/dp/B002EKO7BM
not suggesting its ideal, but it's doable.
Charger, Case & Screen protector. As far as apps go, what do you want to do?
Anything Anker makes.
After struggling with the lightning bolt myself, I didn't take any chances and ordered this one. No problems now.
Mine has frozen twice for a glitchy N64 ROM (deleted it) and once when trying to exit Kodi.
My Pi is not overclocked and the power supply is the standard CanaKit one (since it seemed like a legitimate piece of hardware)
I ordered this power supply instead since it is purportedly of high build quality. Are its electricity specs appropriate?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IJKG9R6/ref=ya_st_dp_summary
This battery works great. A bit expensive, but the first and only one that has been reliable.
THIS solved all of my problems. Behold the blackberry playbook charger.
Charges the OPO as fast as the original cable and is much longer
This one is solid, and it is specifically for charging only.
This one is horrible. The lightning connector will bend relative to the case and break the internal connections.
I use this charger. It's a 3.5A charger, which is the highest amp charger out there that'll work with the surface, so it'll charge a bit faster and more consistantly than the stock charger. I predict it'll also wear the battery faster, but that's a chance I'm willing to take for faster charge times and actually being able to do stuff while it's charging.
I'm getting 1,100 with this charger
I was testing a 12W charger with my iPhone 7 just before my iPhone X arrived and I documented the charge over time. Based on their graph, the 12W is about twice as fast as the stock 5W charger (as I guess you might expect).
I haven't finished testing the cheaper wireless chargers yet, but from the ones I have tested I've found that the cable and the charging brick can make a huge difference... more so than the charging pad/cradle itself.
Cheaper cables and charging bricks may result in half the amp throughput as a more reputable charging brick and a good cable. So far... Apple, Anker, SyncWire and NestCam usb power supplies have been the best.
If you want a wireless charger right now and you don't want to spend $60, I'd recommend this one:
http://amzn.com/B01N1WRNOB
The cable it comes with is good but power supply isn't great... if you've got a 2.4A power supply from Apple or Anker, use that instead and you'll get about 25% faster charging. If you want to buy one, get this one:
http://amzn.com/B071YMZ4LD
But at that point you may as well spend the extra $20 for 7.5W, unless you prefer the stand style charger (I do, mostly because it's easier to get it right on the coil).
I'll do a full review once I've got more mileage on them.
Thanks for the suggestion. I am looking for a simple USB hub with just a few USB ports. I don't need slots for SD cards or other stuff.
BTW, is this what you suggested - https://www.amazon.com/Juiced-Systems-Microsoft-Surface-Pro/dp/B00SVFUB5A?th=1
http://www.amazon.co.uk/BlackBerry-Portable-PlayBook-International-Charger/dp/B004XKG7NM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399171270&sr=8-1&keywords=Blackberry+playbook+charger
Its 1.8A not 2A, still charges fast. I have the U.S. wall socket version. Very cheap.
HP North American Power Charger for HP TouchPad - (Retail Package) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0055QYJJM/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_5Ih1tb1ZYEWXX0GQ
This is the one I use. its more portable and a better over all charger then the nexus one.
Edit: I have a pogo cable and I use it with this charger, it works perfectly.
I recently ordered BatPower PDE 2 P60B, but it says it only does 65W with PD. That particular model is just outside your price range, but there are some lower capacity ones well within it.
You don't specify what you're trying to charge, but if it's a surface, you'll probably want the ProE 2 ES15B, which is 148Wh and fits in your budget. Comes with a surface connector.
Would this work to charge my phone and Pro Controller at the same time? How about the phone and the Switch itself? And would it quick charge?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071YMZ4LD/
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KS49753/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_eMUsDb1M6C4DC
This will handle 60w USB PD...
You're complaining about nonissues at this point
Yes, they go bad.
What kind of power supply was it?
Anker power supplies are beasts. I have had two PIs running 24x7 on this one for well over a year.
just put one of these in it. choose the number of outputs you need.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ-Foldable/dp/B071YMZ4LD/ref=sr_1_4?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1510897600&sr=1-4&keywords=usb+wall+charger
Is it this one? - and then are you just using the regular lightning from there?
This will work well for you needs..
The stock Kindle charger isn't much more expensive, and is built better than most aftermarket stuff.
A powered USB hub will not only power your PI, but you can multi-purpose it to power the PI, it's accessories, and connect them to the PI. This is how mine it set up.
I wouldn't read too much into it. It's still available through other retailers, as well. http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-The-Official-Nexus-Dock/dp/B009UQZPA0/
still available on AMAZON for $29.99... and although it hides the pogo pins this COVER is absolutely great
http://www.amazon.com/Tablet-Ac-Adapter-Google-Nexus-Samsung-Galaxy-Asus-Transformer-Charger-Power-Cord/dp/B00IJKG9R6
Something like that might work? Seems the highest output I've found at 5V/3.5A
Because it's the simplest solution, AFAIK.
The other solution would be something like this ( https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B076P4P93T/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_0sWqDbNE10RGA) which I'm even less fond of.
If the SP6 had USB-C, like Go, then you can charge it directly with a C-to-C cable.
Cheers.
Okay, that is not available from Apple. You might be able to buy one on eBay but who knows. You can also use any USB chargers, like a charger for an Android device or iPhone. It might not charge at full speed, but it will charge.
Why do you need a new plug? If you want a new charger, I would look at something like this since Apple no longer sells iPad 3 accessories.
I don't have one, but it looks like at least the Best Buy in Inver Grove Heights might. Though it says there are 3 in stock, so you might want to order online and choose in-store pick up.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/microsoft-wall-charger-for-microsoft-surface-pro-3-and-4-and-microsoft-surface-book-black/4610900.p?id=1219776964093&skuId=4610900
If you price match them to Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Surface-Power-Supply-65W/dp/B01698T1TC (or at least try to) you can save a few bucks.
I only have a Surface RT, which has a totally different charger. Sorry, man, wish I could help.
It is a rip off in Lebanon (100$). Try and get the cheaper version of the charger if it uses something similar.
My advice would be to ask an electronic store for one when to bring it to market, so that the second week you may get a fair price.
another advice would be to get it original from amazon here https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Surface-Power-Supply-Laptop/dp/B01698T1TCand add it to either aramex or onyourway which may cost 10$ extra shipping cost delivered to yar door.
All you need to do is order a USB-C to Lightning cable or adapter. If you already have a USB-C brick (pumping out enough wattage), it will also support fast charging if it's available with your device.
Is there a way to find the UL or CE cert for the Microsoft OEM brand power supply on Amazon? I don't see it here:
https://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Surface-Power-Supply-65W/dp/B01698T1TC/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1517609934&sr=8-3&keywords=surface+power+supply+microsoft
Don't see it for the AAweal either:
https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Microsoft-Surface-Charging-Including/dp/B074X6KZL4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1517609900&sr=8-2&keywords=aaweal
AFAIK, a UL or CE number does not seem to be a required field for the charger/power supply product type on Amazon. I suppose customers can always take the extra step to look up the vendor in databases:
UL: http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/index.html?_ga=2.37917155.1535435633.1517610058-863016551.1517610058
CE: http://www.ce-marking.org/?
not sure if you needed the usb c port if not this one will work to charge your switch
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ-Foldable/dp/B071YMZ4LD/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1518134390&sr=1-1&keywords=anker+usb+wall&dpID=31K8DS3tE2L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
This will charge your OnePlus 6T at the same speed as the 20W original charger.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ-Foldable/dp/B071YMZ4LD/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=charger&qid=1568848141&s=gateway&sr=8-3
If you really really don't care about fast charging, I suggest the Anker brand... I suggest this cables and this wall charger.
It's i7 15 inch. I was looking into this, but still unsure if it would work.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076P3K79R/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_oR.BDbZ77Q843
While Samsung allows you to disable fast charging on the Galaxy phones, Google does not on the Pixel phones. If you don't want to use fast charging on your Pixel, you need to buy a charger that does not have fast charging. I would recommend something like the PowerPort Elite 2 if you do not want fast charging. Pair it with an Anker or Monoprice cable.
Anker makes really good products
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ-Foldable/dp/B071YMZ4LD
As /u/jjongrawr said, works perfect. You can find cheaper adapters on Amazon, like this one (https://www.amazon.com/Headphone-Dreamvasion-Charging-Converter-Compatible/dp/B07KS49753). But don't know if they are good.
You could try this I bought 2 and they work great. They charge my phone fast and they are internationally compatible.
On Amazon:
http://smile.amazon.com/Juiced-Systems-Microsoft-Surface-Pro/dp/B00SVFUB5A?sa-no-redirect=1
It's not that expensive anyway...but cheaper would be nice.
Best battery I ever owned. Supports both PD and OC at various voltages. Large battery size and plenty of ports. Well worth the money I spent.

That’s the exact setup I use. Sorry if links like that aren’t allowed. I even have the two charging cords that come with the battery taped together and basically just keep them with that usb block as it exclusively gets used to charge that battery. The battery has awesome capacity. Can charge my whole bag worth of GoPro batteries, my phone and iPadpro and still have a little juice.
I got this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004XKG7NM/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_oarnub0MBRWM1
It's awesome for the price.

damn autocorrect from the phone was bad sorry for that. Its that powerbank and https://www.amazon.com/Delippo-Surface-Charging-Microsoft-Charger/dp/B01D4HAAL4/ref=sr_1_25?keywords=surface+DC&qid=1558294396&s=gateway&sr=8-25 cable. If you buy the powerbank use the 12v output since the surface pro 4 (unless you have the M3 chip) isnt made for 20v. I get 2-3 full charges on my Surface Pro 4. It takes about 5-6 hours to charge the powerbank up to full and you get loads of connectors to other computer brands included with the powerbank. Im from sweden so guess the auto correct isnt used to typing English on the cellphone.

I do recommend this as I do have one, this can replace your original charger as well. Although it's 100$ it is worth the investment!
I use the PWR+ 3.5A Power Supply.
Can you post photos of the power adapter's spec sheet?
Also how did the USB Sound Card pan out?
I think the battery life has a certain relationship with the adapter. After I changed a new surface book, I changed my adapter recommended by a friend. There is no problem at present, very small and suitable for carrying. Do you think it has something to do with the adapter?

Is this the same?
The official ASUS Nexus 7 dock
Thanks, but I wouldn't call that a travel charger. It is pretty big and it has its own cable.
Not USB-C, but something like this is what I am looking for:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ-Foldable/dp/B071YMZ4LD
Can you be more specific about what you want? It's not super clear what you're after.
Do you want something that lets you plug USB cables into wall outlets like this?
Or one of those but with a built in extension cord like this?
Amazon link.
While I do agree that charging takes quite a while my K1 tablet that I got around christmas charges just fine when playing games. I've found that it will typically charge much slower and with some games it might slightly lose charge for a short duration. I have my tablet on marshmallow.
Perhaps it's your charger? I'm using one from the HP touchpad, here.
MS has a 65w charger for 80 bucks at the ms store, amazon has it for 70+ prime
case of your choosing and then perhaps a car charger.
Ahhh thanks!! Do you have any idea which one would be best for the performance base model? I've got no clue.

Would this charge at the normal speed or?
Well, it isn't a cheap charger but it's not the official one. I use an Anker charger, has two turbo power ports. But as I understand it, if a phone can't use it, it only provides the power a phone can use. Pretty fancy stuff.
It's essentially this charger, but it doesn't say when I last bought it, so it must be an updated model.

Can’t go wrong with this one. This is what I use for my wireless charger.

Cheap, and multi input voltage supported!
Honestly, I can't remember the last time I saw a charger with a transformer. SMPS has become the new standard.

Thank you for the contest.
Pogo OR hp charger:
I don't think this is helpful if you don't already own one... but I own an hp Touchpad usb charger and have charged my Nexus 10 with it every night for over a year. The charging speed is phenomenal and I have no battery issues.
Full disclosure, I can't compare the charging speed to the Pogo charger (I don't own one) but I can compare to regular 1.0A which is horribly painful AND 2.1A which is meh. This is definitely better than 2.1A.
Final benefit to the hp Touchpad charger is that you can charge any phone or tablet with it that uses a usb charging port. I occassionally push super-fast emergency charging to my Nexus 5 phone on the hp Touchpad charger. I've read that fast charging isn't good for a battery, but occassional use on my Nexus 5 and my former Galaxy Nexus had 0 obvious negative side effects over the last couple years.
Note: You must use the combo of wall plug + hp usb cable for the fast charging. If you use a different wall plug or non-hp usb cable the whole thing reverts to a slow charging mode. Also, I never use the hp usb cable for data transfer. Might not be reliable on non-hp devices. I just use it for charging.
TL;DR ... Pogo is probably best, but a well-tested multi-purpose option is the hp Touchpad charger.
More accurately, I want to power this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L8GG6PW/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=AABOA797ZZQ73&psc=1
using this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071YMZ4LD/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A294P4X9EWVXLJ&psc=1
what do you think?
Why dont you just buy a multiport rapid charger?
Amazon
No, I mean a cigarette lighter plugin with a USB port - also with higher amperage. 2.1A as against 0.5A on a standard USB port.
I like USB port outlets coz I can plug in other devices easily as well. Versatility FTW
I just bought one on amazon last week for $30 - in fact I learned it existed on this sub when mine stopped charging as well. It was cheaper than the replacement port, which was about $55. The day after I bought it, the price jumped to $69, and is $43 today... Not sure why the fluctuations, but I would check everyday.
EDIT: OP, today it's back to $30 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B009UQZPA0?pc_redir=1406626090&robot_redir=1
I use the kindle powerfast 9w charger from Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006GWO5WK?cache=2c73d851ab462203652e1b41d8f8269e&pi=SY200_QL40&qid=1414970824&sr=8-1#ref=mp_s_a_1_1
It charges just as fast as the OEM charger
Oh ok thank you. I had some adapters at home which I was wary of using because they didn't have the correct power ratings I think, but I just ordered this so I'll just wait till that comes. It's an official blackberry product and has a lower Amp rating so do you reckon it will be fine?
If you can, try grabbing one of those 5W or 10W chargers. Anker makes some great ones. They usually run about $10-$20 depending on the model (some are multi-port, some have fast charging, some have USB-C out, etc). I use this one and it works really well. You can also scroll halfway down the page to see the different models there are, too.
Basically, you make sure it have enough voltage to provide the appropriate power to the hub, then the amperage is almost like how many devices you can power at that voltage.
See what you think :)
And here is the SP4 adapter I use. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B016ISSNB0/ref=pd_aw_fbt_147_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=PFH0868V9KPGJA3Z3DJ9
Edit: It looks like the seller has since changed the item to a car charger. Here is an identical adapter from a different seller.

It's this charger - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IJKG9R6?keywords=3.5%20amp%20charger&qid=1458363977&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1
Use this charger. I've got 2 K1's I bought on release day and an original and all 3 charge from empty to full in a couple hours on that.
That charger will also allow your tablet to slowly charge even while gaming on it..
I think I might know what you are talking about - it's the Juiced Systems Microsoft Surface Pro 3 - 4 in 1 Adapter - 2x USB 3.0, SD/SDHC/MMC4.0, Micro SD/SDHC. It's the one I was thinking, too.
It doesn't have video out.
I'll save you guys some time ;)

Amazon has a 9 Watt 2.2 Amp charging brick http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-PowerFast-Adapter-Accelerated-Charging/dp/B006GWO5WK/ref=sr_1_2?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1417319949&sr=1-2&keywords=Kindle+fire+hd+charger I bought one to go with my KFHD7 two years ago and it's still going strong. Well worth the $20. If I had to buy a single charging brick again, it would be that one.
There are adaptor dongle things that allow audio out and charge at the same time. Sounds like you need one of those.
