this is the mount i bought. paired with the official Switch car charger.

u/kaeyay · 333 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Product if interested. Can vouch for extreme comfort and feeling like you're in Wall-E.

I bought one of those so my phone would stop crashing into my face as I fell asleep watching something. Now I use it to play Switch in bed with a controller

Edit: Since so many people keep asking, this is what I use

Here's the arm!

The cable is just a braided Anker 6ft cable. So honestly not too expensive at all!

Just get a gooseneck mount instead, like this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AUQ33LG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.QQkDb1HH7Q1W

The labo VR only supports a few games and it’s not the greatest quality for long play sessions. You also can’t leave out the lenses because they hold it all together. Go with a gooseneck mount instead, I have one attached to my nightstand next to my bed and it’s been awesome.

u/Gadz00ks · 20 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

There are a lot to choose from, you have to skim through reviews to be sure the switch will fit in it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C1VFZX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.wSFDb9M0MN6T

I see a lot of people recommending those gooseneck switch/tablet holders (something like say this: https://www.amazon.com/Tryone-Gooseneck-Nintendo-Samsung-Overall/dp/B01AUQ33LG ) so you can position it so the Switch is front of your face whatever position you're in, even flat on your back.

u/tjramsden · 17 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I use this. It's fantastic. tyrone gooseneck tablet holder

u/MeghanBoBeghan · 16 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Dude, you need a tablet holder, it will 100% solve your problems. I got this one:

Tryone Gooseneck Tablet Stand
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AUQ33LG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_h-TFDbXDM9JKF

And it is fantastic. I lay on my back and put the Switch in it, position it over my head, and hold the joy-cons in my hands with my arms relaxed. Ok, it kind of makes me feel like one of the humans in Wall-E, but it's sooooo comfortable.

You could also use it to hold the Switch in front of you when you're sitting up. Detach the joy-cons and prop up the Switch and play all day. I think it would really help you.

u/thestrangeriv · 16 pointsr/Switch

There is this great thing that was popular on reddit when the switch had been out for a while, it was like an arm you mount to your bed or nightstand, with a movable part, that could hold the switch.

Here is the one I am planning on buying:

I bought one of thesefor my car tablet. Totally worth it.

u/imnotgoats · 14 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Not exactly the same, but something like this does a very similar job and works great (that's the one I bought). Fixes firmly to anything within a certain width.

u/Renzzo98 · 13 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

u/AstroFuzz · 13 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I have the Hori stand, it has been handy quite a few times and fits in most carrying cases.

Got a Tryone gooseneck to hook on my exercise bike too. Works prety well for the Switch, recommended to me by some other Redditors.

u/PC_Deals · 12 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Custom built for commercial. Thought about it and the lack of availability and the multiple options required for all vehicles will make this interesting.

Here's the car mount: http://www.amazon.com/Arkon-SM517-Windshield-7-Inch-Tablets/dp/B004M8ST36/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

There are NFC stickers behind the tablet and in the cupholder that automatically link my galaxy nexus and nexus 7 through my phone's hotspot. The tablet is linked to the head unit via aux and an NFC keychain automatically turns off my WiFi hotspot when I tap my phone against it. This is really exciting!

u/Szarkee · 7 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Here’s a more stealthy/unassuming one here

u/Proprs · 7 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Yes. Since it is such a competitive game, I really feel gimped in handheld mode. So much so that if I know I'm going to play it when I'm traveling, I bring a pro controller with me and do "table top" mode. Also, the motion controls don't really work well when reclining in handheld mode, so I also use this goose neck mount (Amazon link) for when I'm splatooning in bed ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º).

u/putneyj · 7 pointsr/macsetups

Using a flexible arm mount found on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GQNRQ86/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's attached to one of my wall-mounted monitor arms

u/quickhonda · 6 pointsr/Nexus7

I use my Nexus7 for gps on long trips and it works great. I built the mount out of two different mounts. The idea came from somebody else on here and it works great. The one is a normal tablet mount for a car and the other is a neat one that attaches to the CD slot of the stereo. The navigation works great but you'll need an internet connection to get it started, I use a wifi tether from my Galaxy Nexus

u/mes09 · 6 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

The issue with car mount ones is that they require two attach points to be stable, are very short, and are very inflexible. You'd have to either remove the entire thing or never sit up in bed.

You'd be better off going with a floor stand than attempting to attach to a lamp. Unless your lamp is bolted to the floor or weighs a ton, it's not going to be able to support the weight of a tablet.

Mine broke because I didn't have a flat surface to attach it to near the bed, if you do it's much, much more stable and unlikely to break. There are also better brands out there, and more expensive holders.

Basically there's a huge market for this stuff already, but no ones found the definitive solution (unless you pay $200+ for one that is).

u/Rahkeesh · 6 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Lying down = Tryone Gooseneck stand. Way more comfortable than trying to support the Switch's weight while on your back.

u/Peace_Day_Never_Came · 6 pointsr/3DS

PERSONALLY I use this

Tryone Gooseneck Tablet Stand, Tablet Mount Holder for iPad iPhone Series/Nintendo Switch/Samsung Galaxy Tabs/Amazon Kindle Fire HD and More, 30in Overall Length(Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AUQ33LG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_4pv2Bb4WFK75T

It holds it very tight from left and right (doesn’t cover exhaust on top) however I can’t guarantee if there will be any long term effects or not. I bought warranty for switch and my phone is a few generations ago so I don’t really care. But I probably won’t use it if I have an iPhone XS

u/Serafita · 6 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Lots of different brands on amazon. I bought a Tryone brand one, though this was months ago. There's probably better brands by now, but just have a look or google images of a gooseneck holder and decide if it fits your needs. :D

u/sudosussudio · 6 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Yeah I have a gooseneck tablet stand and I love it! When I got the flu I clamped it to my headboard so I could still play Dragon Quest XI haha. The one I Have is "Tryone Gooseneck Tablet Stand, Tablet Mount Holder for iPad iPhone Series/Nintendo Switch/Samsung Galaxy".

u/zzakan · 6 pointsr/SmartThings

This is the one I have. It holds my iPad without any problems, will work for any device.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BX5YU7Y

Also, I recommend The Home Remote over Action Tiles. It's free and has a completely customizable interface. The developer is quick to respond to questions on the support forum, too. That being said, I'm not sure about installing it on Kindle Fire.

u/ObsidianHarbor · 4 pointsr/golf

if you walk they make some cool phone holders that can clip onto you bag. Just use your bag as the tripod. something like this

u/TemptedTemplar · 4 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

That was a generic tablet holder. They don't need to make a branded one, because there is a thousand already on the market for $20.

Amazon has so many of them it's silly

u/BeGlitched · 4 pointsr/AppleArcade

You can get a mount to hold the iPad. I have something like this gooseneck iPad holder. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AUQ33LG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_fDmJDbQ5AVN39

u/dekza456 · 4 pointsr/3DS

I saw many people buy it from this [Link] (https://www.amazon.com/Tryone-Gooseneck-Nintendo-Samsung-Overall/dp/B01AUQ33LG) but since I live in Asia, I just bought one from some Chinese company. For mine it's fully flexible and can hold the weight very well (I bought mine for like year and a half now). And if my Chinese knock off work that good I think this one will work fine as well

u/Itsbrettokay_ · 4 pointsr/ipad

Try one of these I have 2 of them in my house now! One I have on my headboard to watch Netflix with and the other I have on my desk to have Netflix while I’m using my computer. Because a $19 mount is cheaper then a second monitor.

u/__PETTYOFFICER117__ · 4 pointsr/audiophile

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AUQ33LG and yeah it works pretty nicely! Definitely some movement when tapping, but it's perfect for how I use it, as music control.

u/azthemansays · 4 pointsr/SexPositive

May I suggest something like this if you have something to anchor it to next to the bed?

Otherwise there's ones out there that have a base that can sit on the floor and you can maneuver the bendy cable to your comfortable eye level.

I didn't expect this much interest in it, I'll add more details of the stack up of which pieces to put together in what order.

u/Small_Pack_of_Wolves · 3 pointsr/Jeep

I bought an Arkon tablet windshield mount from Amazon that I'm really happy with. I use my tablet as a GPS/ music player/ speedometer if I'm feeling fancy and this one held up well; it held my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7" in an Otterbox very well, even when it got pretty rough and bumpy. When I lost one of the little 'legs' for it, customer service was excellent and actually shipped me an updated unit- a while new mount- for free.

Maybe you could try and find a tablet mount that will fit the DS. That one is just an example. You could have the mount under the DS stuck to the table, and then be able to rotate the DS into the block as you tried. It might give you better control on clicking the buttons independantly. You could just rotate your hand to click them. It would depend how smooth the rotation on the mount is though.

u/StephenT1520 · 3 pointsr/samsung

Would something like this work?

u/TheSaintEven · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Could always do something along these lines:

Okra 360° Degree Adjustable Rotating Headrest Car Seat Mount Holder For iPad, Samsung Galaxy,Motorola Xoom, And all Tablets Up To -10.1" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QML0LV4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_mLVQybQNQF2JE

u/rtwpsom2 · 3 pointsr/gaming

When you can get get something like this starting at $10?

u/synivale · 3 pointsr/ChronicPain

This is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01AUQ33K2

It's inexpensive, incredibly sturdy and can be used horizontal. That's how I use mine and it has helped SO much with my neck pain. I have mine attached to my head board ( although you can attach it to practically anything) positioned directly over my head so I can lay flat on the bed while watching. I highly recommend! I just told my husband it was probably the best thing we've bought all year. :)

u/GooTangClam · 3 pointsr/splatoon

It's [Mumba Nintendo Switch case] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072M2G7S8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I also have this screen protector. I don't know how comfortable grip is. I haven't used handheld mode ever since I got the pro controller. But it seems very sturdy and got 5 star reviews on amazon.

fyi try this goose neck mount if you want to play on the bed! I love this one when I'm feeling super lazy. But it's pain in the ass to adjust and put the switch on the mount. Maybe there is better one someone else can suggest.

Edit: forgot to mention, you cannot use the stand when its on the case! I wish it has a stand built in on the case. Also I dont know if it fits in the dock because I took it apart and replaced it with smaller dock.

u/DerelictMan · 3 pointsr/EmulationOnAndroid

\> I'd like to play in bed before I go to sleep.

Imma bout to blow your mind.

Get a "gooseneck" mount and attach it to your nightstand assuming you have one. This is the one I use:

Tryone Gooseneck Tablet Stand

I pull out the top drawer of my nightstand and mount it to the side of the drawer, which is a nice flat surface for the grip to attach to. It's adjustable but stable, as long as you aren't touching the device. If you're using a wired controller via USB OTG it can sometimes wobble if you pull on the cable but that's probably a fixable issue. It's strong enough to hold a phone or a tablet. Can't recommend it enough.

u/Cannolioso · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I bought a gooseneck tablet holder that I hook up to my bed frame so I don’t even have to hold the switch in bed. Most comfortable gaming experience ever.

Edit: adding link to the product below. Looks out of stock right now but there are similar ones on amazon. Only feedback I have is I wish it were 6 inches longer, but that’s nitpicking. It’s a great product for a lazy guy like me.

https://www.amazon.com/Tryone-Gooseneck-Nintendo-Samsung-Overall/dp/B01AUQ33LG

u/slamjammin · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Edited link, sorry!

There are a bunch of similar ones out there as well. This model also holds my Amazon Fire 10 tablet for lazy Brooklyn 99 binges when I get mad at Hollow Knight.

u/nrq · 3 pointsr/AndroidQuestions

A used 10 inch tablet and a stand like this might be a better option than using your phone and a projector to watch movies in bed. I'm pretty sure those cheap projectors suck, picture quality-wise, and you can still use your phone normally while watching a movie.

u/IMDSound · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch
u/SuprDog · 3 pointsr/splatoon

I use a gooseneck tablet stand. This exact model actually.

There is usually somewhere to attach this thing to such that it sits right at eye level.

I used this for the 10h flight to Alaska and it worked well.

u/CaptainGreezy · 3 pointsr/TheExpanse

A thread a long time ago could not identify them and concluded that the show made them custom.

There are certainly other things like it if you search for "tablet arm" or something like this https://www.amazon.com/CTA-Digital-Tabletop-Tablets-PAD-TAM/dp/B01BIJYJ80

u/Suilean · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01EMMKI4O/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This holder works perfectly. The neck is sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about it drooping over time and I've not once been worried it was going to fall out of the clip. The neck is also loooong so, no matter how you lay, you can get it in the perfect position. I've been using it for about 8 months.

u/Bman7407 · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

My friend, your doing it all wrong... put the switch in this, hold the joy cons by your sides. Enjoy maximum laziness.

Pro tip: have your mom bring the hot pockets to you, so you never have to get up!!

u/cbroughton80 · 2 pointsr/amazonecho

I have it in the kitchen, seems to make the most sense. It's nice that it automatically shows upcoming calendar events without asking. Offers up some lighter news stories which is neat. My kid likes watching nature videos or calling Nana. I like operating the smart home without having to talk to it when everyone is sleeping. If I used Amazon Photos it could be a good photo frame. It can do recipies and YouTube but neither are convenient enough to use often. If you already have a dot you know most of what it can do. The screen just seems like a bonus and not worth the huge price premium. I would never have bought it personally but it was free for making a skill in October.

If you don't need the special tablet dock for ahow mode I'd probably look at mounting it to the wall. I use these as a mount and this as a low profile charger for my phone and they work great.

u/Phlerg · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

I was hoping that was the case.

Maybe this?

u/thejoester · 2 pointsr/lifehacks

u/mythrowawaysilly · 2 pointsr/lyftdrivers

It is mounted. I'm using an old LG tab X i like it because you can lock any specific app so passengers can't look through the tablet.

I don't know what all her factors are, but I would think that the most accessible way to play the Switch would be to use regular Switch and a larger TV screen via the "full" Dock, with an appropriately ergonomic controller. The Switch Lite screen is pretty small. Plenty of people--even people whose sight isn't great--can still use it enjoyably because, as a handheld, you can hold it pretty close to your face. However, that means you're using the built-in controls, which are decent, but probably not the most ergonomic for people with big hands and (possibly?) knuckle issues.

If you want to use an external controller, you'll have to use a stand. If you want to use the 8bitdo adapter, that stand will have to also be a mini-dock with USB ports. In either case, it requires a table or flat surface and you'll need enough room for you to hold the controller at a comfortable level and then have the Switch screen at some distance that's likely further away than that...unless you do something interesting, like sit on a low chair at a table, having the Switch more at head or neck level, and then hold the controller closer down by your lap.

Summary: the Lite works great as a handheld, but might be a little small as a tabletop console.

Another option for optimally positioning the Switch without worrying about your table level is a gooseneck stand like this one.

As far as controllers go, is this the one she likes?

A PS4 controller matches that layout. So does the 8bitdo SN30 Pro+. Keep in mind if you think the gooseneck stand idea is interesting, you probably couldn't use that with the Lite's charging dock (which has the USB ports the 8bitdo PS4 adapter would need), so you'd be limited to controllers that functioned directly with the Switch, sans adapters. So the SN30 Pro+ would still be an option.

Not sure what you mean by holders, but im going to assume tablet holder? If so I just got the Tryone Gooseneck tablet holder in today, and im really digging it. Really really stiff and sturdy.

I got the 24 inch model here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AUQ33LG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

there is also a longer version at 30 inches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HEO7Z2U

u/kittenrevenge · 2 pointsr/flytying

Ha! i've had both these exact thoughts. Already looked at these flexible desk arms for my ipad on amazon. And i've got some peg board in the garage I thought about putting up.

u/abchiptop · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Heads up, if you have a little extra space in your carry on, you can also get a gooseneck tablet holder, which will be more stable and functional if you find yourself somewhere without a flat surface.

I got this one, though if you have a Five Below nearby, they've got shorter ones for $5 sometimes, they just don't stock them online

u/GoodTeletubby · 2 pointsr/EmpireDidNothingWrong

Also highly recommend a gooseneck clamp for it. You can position the screen midair in front of your face even laying down. Great for when you're feeling too shitty to even sit up enough to see a standing screen, but still want to play. Should clamp onto one of the handles by the head just fine. May need a longer charging cord, though.

My sedentary hobbies predate my IC issues, so I always have a handheld gaming console nearby. My 3DS gets the most use although I also recently picked up a gooseneck stand for my Switch so I can play more comfortably in bed. When I'm flaring, I stick to relaxing games like puzzlers (Picross) and laid back sims (Stardew Valley).

I am using MotionDetector and tasker. I guess it is a little hacky in that is a bit complicated to get it just right but it runs on 3 screens and every now and then if it isn't waking up(maybe one screen every week or so), I just reboot. You can google other peoples instructions but I think this is the clearest. Basically it works like MotionDetector looks for motion and triggers tasker to wake up the display. Nice sensitivity settings and stuff. Doesn't need much light.

I bought 10.5" galaxy s tablets on ebay(2560 x 1600 resolution) for $100-150 and mounted to the wall with these(get the 2.0 like the link). I put in recessed outlets behind the tablets and put a light sensitive night light in one of the outlets plugings so it has back lighting. I also put in the outlets with the usb built in and got the 90 degree angled short cords to make it clean.

If you're unable to sit up to play games sometimes, I'm going to go ahead and recommend getting one of these bad boys - https://www.amazon.com/Tryone-Gooseneck-Compatible-Smartphones-Tablets/dp/B07218SK42/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=trygone+gooseneck&qid=1550565991&s=gateway&sr=8-2-spell
It's compatible with the Switch and lets you use a pro controller or joycon grip controller while laying flat. Honestly, one of ths best purchases I've ever made for $20. Playing games at 180 degrees is insanely comfortable. Plus, if you get a half-ok android tablet, you can use it to stream games from a PC or PS4 easily enough. Hope this helps. :)

u/MuNot · 2 pointsr/Splatoon_2

If you have the cash I highly suggest investing in a goose neck for the switch.

They're about $20, though there should be some cheaper options out there. allows you to more easily position your switch and leaves the bottom unblocked to keep it charging.

I think you'll need to buy two packs for your setup to work like mine. Look at my picture and you'll notice that the mount on the right is rotated and is actually a second left-side mount. I did this because it allows easier access to the charging port and there is a built-in wire clip that holds the wire in place snugly.

I put this one in: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DPMNNUO/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's ok. It works for me because I don't use CD's, so I don't care that the cd slot is take up. It doesn't bounce around too much and holds the phone securely. The negatives are that the phone will be mounted down very low so if you want it for nav it's not easy to see, and it is mostly only an option if you use a case with your phone (unless you use a Nexus 5) because you have to put a metal plate on the case to have it stick. I mean you could put the metal plate on your phone but who wants to do that...

The alternatives aren't too great either. Vent clip ones are not bad and keep things up high closer to your line of sight, but they they also block a vent. Suction cup ones are iffy and I've had very few of them that didn't fall off when it gets either cold or hot. Plus they block part of your view out the windshield. You can get some neat ones with an articulating arm to mount your phone too, but then you have to drill holes somewhere to mount it.

These ones look kind of neat, but also look like they take up some passenger knee space and they're quite expensive (over $100 when you have everything you need).

The last option would be one of these. I actually got my dad one of these to mount his tablet in his car and they work fantastically, however in the 3 the cup holders are so far back I'm not sure how well it would work. Plus, you lose a cup holder when this is installed...

This one looks like it might be a good option though. Clips into the dash seam. It's just a mount plate though, you still need an actual holder to put on it (they sell them, or you can use a suction cup or adhesive tape mount). My only issue with that would be that it's kinda out there and ugly. My cd slot holder is at least not very visible or in the way when not in use.

u/snakeislandman · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I wonder if this bad boy would work (absent an actual Switch accessory):
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GUPPGSA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dHXEybF46XF1B

u/SuperfieldCU · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

I got the Butterfox carrying case. Sturdy, holds 19 games, and a pocket for accessories. Great case for a great price.

If you want to use the Switch in tabletop mode, definitely go for the Hori Playstand. The Switch's built-in kickstand has several issues: it's flimsy, blocks the charging port when set up and only has one viewing angle. The Playstand fixes all of those things and yes, it does fit in the Butterfox case's accessories pouch.

If you want to be playing it in the car, you'll want a car charger. I personally got the PowerA charger. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it is officially licensed by Nintendo. I also got this car mount; just make sure you put the Switch into it in such a way that you don't block the holes on the back. Those are not speakers, they're air intakes and you never want to block them while the system is running (you're fine in sleep mode).

>I'd be interested in your tablet recommendation that is worth spending 150-200-300 and is wildly better to read manga than a Fire 8

If your absolute limit is $300, based on my personal experience, I recommend Samsung Galaxy Tab s2..

Long version recommendation:

  • Any tablet that is 9.5 inches or bigger. Bigger screen size just looks better for reading manga, I dislike reading manga on a 8.5 inch screen size.
  • Make sure to have a resolution of 1920x1080 or higher unless you are okay with reading low quality manga from mangahere or other sites with awful resolution.
  • I recommend anything with 32gb memory and then buy a SD card for more memory. Downloading a lot of manga will take up a lot of space, so you want them to go straight to the SD card. You can get away with a 16gb, but then you will max out your internal storage very easily just by essential apps. Don't bother with anything less than that.

If you want to shave down specs to save money, Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a good choice. I emphasize on screen size because I feel it really enhances the manga reading experience.

Whether or not you decide my above opinion is worthless and decide to get a Amazon Fire Tablet to save money, I will also suggest getting a Tryone Gooseneck Tablet Stand and a Bluetooth mouse so you can read manga on bed or whatever. It helps getting the perfect angle on how comfortable you want to read your manga and sometime swiping on the tablet with your fingers is annoying.

u/CudB · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

If you have somewhere to clip a mount then this one from Amazon or something similar is really good too! They're very sturdy and supports phones/tablets too. You can mount it right up to your head level which makes it very comfortable use as you don't have to tilt your head.

Edit: I just realised someone posted the same mount in a separate comment already, but I'll just reinforce that this is an amazing purchase I guess!

I put the switch in there and mount the thing on the side of the wall. I lean back, keep the joycons above water, and totally just lay back and go. Thing's got an iron grip and I love it.

It's much like reading in the tub, it's not that difficult to keep your arms above the water line and in the off chance I dropped anything, the only casualty would be a joycon. No data, no console, etc.

But I haven't seen using it for my switch cause of reports of warping and bending. Anybody else have this problem or can I use it for the reason I bought it for?

u/SuperNinjaPerson · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

So I've been eyeing up one of those gooseneck clamps for the switch (like this one), but my main concern that I haven't seen addressed too much is how much pressure it places on the switch.

Does anyone have anything like this and can comment on if the pressure seems too great/it feels like it might bend the switch after prolonged use? Also if anyone can recommend one thats good, that would be great.

u/herpmcderpinton · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Not to shill but I got this one a few months ago and have had zero problems with it. Some mounts you gotta be careful too cuz they might scratch the edge of your switch this one has a silicone ish padding on the edges that increases friction between it and your switch for grip but is also not a harder material than the plastic they use to manufacture a switch. I'm sure there are other just as good goosenecks and mounts out there but this one has done me well.
