Oh my gosh, I am a super chips and salsa addict! Best sub I've ever found (you seriously can't even tell they aren't normal tortilla chips!) Beanitos
Roast corn on the cob, slather in mayo, then roll in crushed Takis Fuego, which basically tastes like if flamin hot cheetos and lime tostitos had a baby. Top with cotija cheese and cilantro.
Eat excessively. It's delicious.
My husband has kidney disease and his doc limited him to less than 2,300 mg per day. I keep him below that and his kidneys have stopped declining.
Here are some things that I keep around that might help you with your uncle.

These are a few of what I think of as my guy friendly foods. It keeps hubby from snacking on the really bad stuff. I would recommend going to the store and just filling up a box on your own instead of ordering them online since it's so expensive to order that way. You can find some version of these in almost any sizable grocery store and it will cost you far less to make a care package yourself. I just looked them up online in case you have to go that route, plus you'll know what the packaging looks like.
On a side note if you need help with recipes or ideas just let me know. I think it's really wonderful that you are trying to help him. I hope you won't be too disappointed if he doesn't respond the way you would like. Being a hoarder sort of goes hand in hand with mental issues and a resistance to any kind of change no matter how small or important. I hope that he embraces some change and appreciates your effort.
Edit: Online prices for these items are very pricey, that's why I suggested looking for them in the store. In our store the family size bags of Utz no salt potato chips run about $3 and there are always generic store versions. I included the online link so OP could see what they look like and perhaps find it cheaper.
I see "natural flavor" in the ingredients, are we sure that means something like chili and not beef flavor? But regardless, I have a rule that if there is no obvious indication that it's not vegan, I go for it.
I highly recommend these chips if you like Doritos: http://www.amazon.com/El-Sabroso-Original-Salsitas-Tortilla/dp/B000FKGT8W They taste like slightly spicier Doritos - without cheese!
Judging from the ingredients I'd say some kind of tortilla and sweet potato chips. Hain Celestial owns only one brand that makes such chips, Garden of Eatin'. So it must be these.
The milk on these makes them listed as number 1 on this list of 5 Surprisingly Not-Vegan Snacks

I use these "healthier" chips to scoop my chunky guacamole. I get both at Costco. http://www.amazon.com/Food-Should-Taste-Good-Multigrain/dp/B009XXTMC2/ref=sr_1_2/191-8676012-8119500?ie=UTF8&qid=1413685650&sr=8-2&keywords=food+should+taste+good
Are you talking about this ? Doritos Tangy Cheese . It is available thought a marketseller there.
From my experience, Amazon, as in Amazon Amazon Amazon (ie. not the marketsellers; and no matter what "local" Amazon you're using), doesn't usually expedite food to international markets. As for Amazon Canada, in terms of food, it sucks anyway, and most of what is interesting or exciting comes from marketsellers that sell at prohibitive price.
Those were my favorite chips pre-vegan, and I was sad to learn that they have milk. I tried Late July's SubLime chips recently, and they're pretty tasty. Not AS tangy, but good!
Nah, they were blue corn tortilla chips like these ones, but were flavoured with cinnamon.

I never measure anything when I make my own recipes, but I will tell you everything I used!
For the beans- Cook onion, garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, salt & pepper on the stove and add a bit of tomato paste. Add pinto beans, and your cooked vegan chorizo. Add a little more tomato paste and simmer for about 5 minutes.
For rice- I just made brown rice lol
Toppings- Follow Your Heart cheddar cheese shreds, tomatoes, avocado, and cilantro
Chips- Late July’s Lime Jalapeño chips
Happy cooking everyone :)
These. Frickin. Chips.
I used to be addicted to them when I lived in Tennessee. They were a little hard to find, but gawd were they worth it. I moved to Hawaii though, and they aren't sold anywhere on the island and I MISS THEM SO MUCH! XD
Tell you what I fucking love from america. Doritos Dinamita. Those things are the best. And i swear i cannot get them here, believe me I've tried. Even my closest big "American Stuff Place" has never had them.

Here are some Amazon link suggestions. Enjoy our unhealthy food! =D
These Doritios?
> One of the greatest causes of obesity is calorie rich but nutrient poor cheap foods.
And you think that giving more money to the fat poor people will make them eat healthier food? Or will they get more of the same shit they are used to?
FYI, snacks cost much more than vegetables.
