I bought my little jumper a mini trampoline that had a handlebar and let him jump to his heart's content. It wasn't noise free but it was noise predictable. It was kind of like this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KVPBSPK?psc=1

Seriously.. Get a mini trampoline. I see them at thrift stores all the time. Your child will be wiped after 10-15 minutes. Especially if you time them to see how long they can jump.

Have you seen these? A folding portable trampoline, $21. I know that it wouldn't be as good as a full-sized one, but it might help...

Bar for stability. You can buy additional replacement bars that added with the one already included could provide balance.

How about like a small trampoline? Just cut off the supporting legs and you have a strong hoop.

ANCHEER Max Load 220lbs Rebounder... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0725RB6QL?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf I got this one off of Amazon. It's been great. At first my son wanted me to jump w him all the time, now he'll do it by himself. I also let him create watercolor art. He used to like breaking crayons instead of coloring. Painting is less of a hassle. We play shark attack, (letting him get on the couches to escape mom shark). Sometimes we work out together, (he likes to copy his momma) I do random things to make him burn energy like running in place, jumping jacks. If you don't already own it, I'd suggest either buying Lucky Ducks or making some sort of (card) matching game. Maybe throw in running in a circle if you match one. It sucks keeping kids indoors so much but it also sucks to see them scratching at mosquito bites and dealing with bad weather is a nuisance. Good luck momma! It's all temporary, they'll grow and we'll be left with memories. If you have any suggestions on keeping my adorable destroyer occupied, I'd love to hear them. Thx.

Does something like this look okay? I think it's an elastic band rebounder but it doesn't explicitly say so... I'm worried that the price might be too good, but the reviews are great!

My SO weighs around 330 so I won't be able to share with him unfortunately, at least til he gets closer to his goal. Thanks for the weight info! I'm pumped. I'm totally going to watch the entire series of House on my rebounder.

Weekly Weighloss/Fitness Check-in

  • Slow start this morning. Not feeling too great, I'd rather be asleep.
  • I lost a pound since last week!
  • Haven't even the best this week. It was one of those weeks where I hung out with people I never see, so i was a little more lax on my eating. I'm not too upset about it, cause yummm food. But I'll have to keep that in mind in the future.
  • After my credit card gets paid off this month, I'm going to buy this so I can do something while I watch Netflix. I'll probably hold a fitness related contest at the same time <3
  • /u/flyingfresian, /u/Gypsophillia, and anyone else of course. How are you doing with your fitness journey?

Try a mini tramp or something similar. Placing it on the rubber floor tiles that racejudicata mentioned should make it fairly quiet, depending on the mass involved.

I could fill my spare bedroom with playpin balls...... then get a trampoline.... I could have a room in my apartment with a trampoline and playpin balls. I would be the coolest motherfucker on the planet.

If you can make room, my daughter has a kids trampoline - it is perfect for getting out extra wiggles.

Also, never under-estimate crafts. Kids love to work with their hands and it is good for their development. If they were in daycare craft/paper play would be a daily activity soon.
