Alcohol just inhibits the absorption of B vitamins, it doesn't prevent it. Take your B Complex pills every day, make sure you've got at least 100mg of Thiamin(B1). This is what I take after my daily meal. Don't be dumb, we're all drinking because our brains are weird, it's the least you can do is try to keep it from fucking up too bad and going from weird to fucking retarded.

https://www.amazon.com/Bytox-Hangover-Organic-Natural-Vitamins/dp/B00I3F4QSQ. No idea if this works though but I've seen this advertised in a lot of podcasts. Maybe Stassi's as well? I can't remember which

  1. Methylated B-vitamin supplement. This is a decent one.
  2. "Keto-ade" for electrolytes:
    1. 28 oz water
    2. 1 tsp salt
    3. 1/2 tsp potassium ("No Salt / Salt Substitute")
    4. 7 ml magnesium citrate (sold as laxative)
    5. Stevia / Monk Fruit
    6. Mio (or lemon juice, fruit juice)

That thorne stuff is very good. You can also have a look at these:

Depends on your price range.

Magnesium

Citrate is perfectly fine. Just don't take two pills at once. Use the bottle up and next time buy a malate or glycine (depending on your goals, the latter, glycine, is best for relaxation, in which case you should take it before sleep.)

Nofap

Okay, so i could go on and debunk nofap and the science behind it, but that would waste both our time - because you're not doing nofap on the premise that it is scientific, you're doing it based on your own experience. And that is perfectly fine and valid (in this regard, I also recommend you not to mention yourbrainonporn when trying to convince anyone that has a high literacy in scientific studies. thats a really shitty site btw).

Brahmacharya is nofap in a way, yes, but there are some subtle differences. I do it because i do observe some energy being present when I do not do the deed. But this is entirely related to the deeper stages of meditation, and has nothing to do with any of the bullshit stuff you read on nofap about gaining social powers (I mean seriously how far on the autistic spectrum are these people?). Personally, masturbation does not make any difference for me in that regard.

Hope i am of help :)

I can give only an anecdotal report, but I've had some roller coaster rides with niacinamide (B3). Definitely research B3, in its various forms, if you're taking it. When I first started taking it, I found my depression and anxiety lifted more than they had ever been. It was amazing. The stuff worked better than any antidepressant I'd ever taken. But then after some months, I got worse again. I'm trying to remember exactly what happened -- I think I was somewhat agitated, and definitely the anxiety came back. Finally I decreased the niacinamide and eventually stopped taking it. But because I'd had such a good result from it initially, I tried again a few more times later on. I remember taking small doses but having insane panic attacks. Finally, I found a children's B complex that has only 2.3 mg per tablet, and that I can tolerate. It helps, believe it or not.

I know what you mean about so many people pushing high-dose B complexes. I think the doses are crazy.

I don't know if you're hyper-sensitive to vitamins like I am, so I don't know if this will be helpful, but a few years ago I was diagnosed with Cytochrome P450 liver enzyme deficiency. It means that my liver doesn't metabolize various substances as well as it should, including vitamins and other supplements; estrogen; and a host of drugs, including most antidepressants. I get side effects from even the smallest doses. Not a lot is known about this deficiency yet, but apparently it's not terribly uncommon. So if you find that you're sensitive to drugs and vitamins generally, you might look into it.

I hope this is helpful, despite being nonscientific. Best of luck to you! Feel free to pm me.

I'm on mobile and cannot see the rules of this group, so I hope this is okay. I Google searched this so it's not anything I get anything from. You may be able to find this product at a better price elsewhere, so this is simply an example of the product I'm talking about.

I think this could easily be true, and it won't hurt to try.

Also, this is a long shot, but I wonder if you have a B2 (riboflavin) and/or B3 (niacin) deficiency. It is sort of weird to have this without having any eye symptoms, but maybe the rest of your diet is compensating. Coffee impairs the absorption of most B vitamins (except B12) and would partially explain why you get so itchy after coffee - it temporarily exacerbates the existing deficiency. The deficiency might ultimately be "caused" by some kind of parasite - maybe you're getting adequate amounts for a normal person, but the parasite makes you need more. If you decide to try supplementing, I recommend either focusing on food sources or getting a liquid (or liqui-gel) b-complex because it's easier for your body to absorb. Definitely do not take a giant-ass pure niacin pill because you'll get the "niacin flush" reaction, which is temporary and harmless but sort of alarming and very very itchy.

Also, if you eat a ton of raw egg whites for some reason, you might be giving yourself a biotin (b7) deficiency. This is pretty unlikely, though.

Self-care is crucial. It is the number 1 thing you need to practice. Be med compliant. This is super important. Eat a good breakfast that has some sort of protein (bean burrito, breakfast corn dog, breakfast sandwich). Stay hydrated throughout the day. I don't care if its water, ice tea, or Coke. Eat a decent lunch. I don't care if its a uncrustable, granola bar, and a bag of carrots. Have a snack in the afternoon if you're hungry. Nuts, snack mix, etc. Eat a healthy dinner. Include something green every once in a while.

I would go with a Super B Complex. Costco also makes a version. (Go with Nature Made or Costco because they have strict controls.) I take it when I'm starting to really feel run down. There have been a lot of studies that B12 helps with depression and the Super B just gives me more energy.

Come up with rituals to make it through the day. My morning ritual is coffee and cigarettes on the patio. I need it or teacher is grumpy and nobody is happy that day. At the end of the day I change out of all of my clothes and just sit outside and relax. This is what I need to do to unwind.

If you're on meds, talk to your psychiatrist and make sure they're working like they're supposed. If you're not, you really should be. Make sure you are seeing your psychiatrist regularly. If not monthly, then every other month to review your meds and make changes as needed. See your therapist regularly. You should be seeing your therapist weekly. If you can't make that work, there is online therapy. (Yeah, I know it sounds weird and I was super suspicious until I tried it.) Both of these are crucial.

Be kind to yourself. Know that you can't do everything and that's okay. Sometimes we do our best and we don't quite get there. That's okay too. We tried. I also totally suggest reading Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson.

Its been a hard road for me too. There have been some people who say that I shouldn't be in teaching because of my severe chronic mental illness. But who are they to say what I can do and what I can't do? As long as I can take care of business in class, it shouldn't matter. I fight and sometimes I win and sometimes I lose. I work hard on keeping track of my mental state. I haven't done that in the past and had to take days off of work because I've been hospitalized, again. I've had panic attacks in class. But it doesn't happen anymore because I am more self-aware. Just keep track of yourself.

Get some of these, regular vitamin b pills aren't strong enough.

FYI This code is good indefinitely, not just Jun 2019.

It's been a few months, and we've made a few more orders and have been very happy with the quality. In case it's useful here's the stuff we tend to get from Canadianprotein to save money / improve the quality of what we are taking (we are 2 CrossFitters).

  1. Grass fed NZ Whey protein, unflavored (we like buying the flavor packs separately so we can mix it up a bit)

    https://www.canadianprotein.com/grass-fed-new-zealand-whey-protein-concentrate?search_query=grass+fed+whey+protein+&results=6#/20-flavour-unflavoured_unsweetened/3-size-5_kg

    [Imgur](https://imgur.com/xnLvKY9)

  2. Flavorings for the whey protein (Cappuccino + Canadian maple is my favorite, Cinnabun is the wife's favorite. Lots of them are good, try a bunch).

    https://www.canadianprotein.com/protein-flavour-packs#/36-flavour-cappuccino

  3. Pre-workout ingredients.

    Our recipe (per dose):

    Citrulline Malate 6g

    https://www.canadianprotein.com/citrulline-malate?search_query=citrulline+malate&results=4#/84-product_options-powder_454_g_1_lb

    beta-alanine 3.2g

    https://www.canadianprotein.com/beta-alanine?search_query=beta+alanine&results=2#/84-product_options-powder_454_g_1_lb

    Betaine anhydrous 2.5g

    https://www.canadianprotein.com/betaine-anhydrous#/84-product_options-powder_454_g_1_lb

Mix powder in water with a squirt of Mio raspberry+cranberry

    +1 200 mg Caffeine tablet

    https://www.canadianprotein.com/caffeine?search_query=caffeine&results=4

    +1 B100 complex tablet (Jamieson's)

    https://www.amazon.ca/Jamieson-Complex-Ultra-Strength-Release/dp/B00BMTIXAW/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=jamieson+b100&qid=1571191507&sr=8-2

If you buy cellucor BCAAs, it turns out the empty container and scoop are perfect for this mixture if you make up multiple doses of the powder ahead of time. This is because each level scoop will contain exactly the right quantity of the mixture.

  4. I've been taking the super men multivitamins as well (capsules, not the powder).

    https://www.canadianprotein.com/super-men-multivitamin?search_query=super+men&results=1

  5. Creatine monohydrate

They have the Creapure stuff. This has absolutely zero taste. Obviously a staple.

Hope that helps if someone else wants to replicate what we do. Go ahead and use that referral code 2713223905 when you sign up and order and you'll save some cash too.

Thanks, I'm walking between 3 and 12 miles each day. The most difficult part was definitely managing bodily function--the first week or two nothing was guaranteed. Best advice I can give: trust no fart.

I also re-read the audio book of Mark Divine's "Way of the SEAL" -- it gives a bunch of exercises to build mental toughness and resilience. I've had little to no hunger/cravings and have cooked several highly aromatic meals for others: homemade pizza, seafood marinara, shrimp and dirty rice, etc.

Overall this has been an exceedingly positive experience my BP has dropped from 140/96 @ 78 bpm to 121/81 @ 74 bmp. I've gone from sleeping 4-5 hours per night with snoring interrupted breathing/semi-apnea (no mask or anything) to 8-10 hours sleeping like a baby. I'm waking up at 5 am before my alarm.

I can't give you the specifics on the nutrients/micronutrients. Here's my complete shopping list--I'm taking electrolyte pills and not using drops--these were recommended in another thread. It's good to keep those on hand, in case you feel any cramps or light-headedness.

YMMV.

It could very well be life changing, it was for me. This is what I use, one per day, it's the cheapest I've found for all the right ingredients: Pure Therapeutics Pharmaceutical Grade Methyl B Complete Dietary Supplement - 120 Vegetable Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y3QD8AG/

If it's top quality methyl B-vitamins you're after and you're prepared to spend a little more, these are the ones I buy. It comes in a pump action bottle, I take one pump in the morning and one pump in the late afternoon and they work great.

Dr. Berg sells yeast tablets which state to take 3 per day. I already have just regular yeast powder that came with a scoop and I just follow the instructions. The yeast powder that I have is from costco I think. So I am not sure how much yeast per day dr berg recommends. The package doesn't say how large the pill is that I could find. I attached the link below. I accidentally just took one of the yeast pills after dinner. Since there's b vitamins, I hope it wont mess up my sleep!

Thank you so much. People like you give me hope, seriously. It sounds cliche, but knowing an anon Internet person feels the same way truly helps!

Therapy is on my radar in the coming weeks, and I'm really looking forward to it. I need a good long emotional purge with an outside source. Also trying to be better about exercising daily; it really does help!

Is this the B supplement you mention? Looks like SAM-e isn't recommended for people with bipolar, but the Max Stress B works well!

Take a B complex vitamin like this https://www.amazon.com/ you won't have enough free time for what comes after... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
