Jazz is a very wide subject. There are some good Real Books you might wanna buy to learn some jazz standards:

The Real Book

The Real Book vol. 2 Low Voice

I'm a fan of the surprisingly good Vocal Real Books (for low voice) like The Real Vocal Book - Volume II:... https://www.amazon.com/dp/1423451236?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. I'm not trying to sing the songs, but having the lyrics next to the melody is very helpful, and although you miss out on the bebop songs like Ornithology in this series, it does have a lot of ballads and even some bossa nova songs.

But eventually you will end up with more than one real book, I have to come down in favor of the Chuck Sher ones over HL, the arrangements and the printing and everything is just far higher quality.

I just picked this up:

Chanting from the Heart: Buddhist... https://www.amazon.com/dp/1888375639?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I have really cracked it open except to get a feel for what each chapter was about. It looks pretty good, so far.
