10 year old me decided to make fudge... yes fudge. I began to mix the half and half, butter and sugar and bring it to a boil. Me being relatively new to the whole cooking and baking chemistry business, I passed my arm directly over the pot of boiling sugary napalm. A bubble burst, sending the sugary napalmy goodness all over my arm.

Decent quality image of this poster is here. Just take it into a Kinkos or something, get it printed, and then frame it yourself. Might not print quite as nicely as the one Amazon sells but it would be a lot easier/cheaper.

EDIT: Just to clarify, I didn’t mean that everyone should print it themselves, but for those that can’t find it in their country it might help. Again, buying the real thing will be much better quality I’m sure. I’m in the USA and it appears it’s unavailable here as well.

I put my own frame on it to make it look less like a poster and class it up a bit. Totally worth it.

$5 on Amazon for a brand new print. This one is framed but definitely ripped on the edges. I think it's pretty easy to fool people into thinking they're getting a good deal when something is relatively cheap. I see a lot of posts on here that are like $5-$10 for something like an old shirt that would likely be something like 50cents to $1 at a Goodwill.

I also know people suck at making deals and are too scared to haggle for certain things. I know people hate lowballers, but that doesn't mean you should never ask for a better price. I've successfully offered half the asking price multiple times for stuff, you can't be afraid to ask.

I think Kristen Stewart gets too much shit. Yeah, she wasn't emotive in those dumb vampire book movies, but the vampire books were badly written and she played the actual character well, inadvertently or no. By the end of filming for the fourth movie, I've read the actors were openly mocking the movies and story line. They probably had that contempt the whole time and I can imagine it making acting more difficult.

I love laser tag! This is my choice. (My other one before edit had more than $5 shipping, sorry about that.) Me and my friends went to laser tag wearing clothing that would light up REALLY bright under the blacklight once. That was ultra fun!

That's fine by me, I'm cool if it's stylized or new. I got this JLA poster and am considering this Castlevania one in keeping with the minimalist theme.

Also ordered two posters on eBay last night, a Final Fantasy 7 group poster (not this one specifically, but roughly the same) and another castlevania one. I don't remember which Castlevania one I got though, I was browsing a bunch. I think I went for classic but we were also considering SCIV and Lords of Shadow Dracula.

There's an overarching theory behind how these will all help with a school experience. Which is, basically, that you need to have fun in between studying. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy, goes the saying.

• So, since we're talking about wine, I thought I should point out that one of my favorite ways of enjoying wine is with a nice bath. And what better way to make that prospect quite a bit safer, than with this piece of heaven?
  
• Next, we come to brooms. What else would a wizard or witch ride? You know what else is interesting about witches? According to Harry Potter, they basically enjoy a tickling sensation while pretending to be burned at the stake (I swear I remember this from the books). Since they're already having fun with it, I think they should have even more fun by turning the flames colors.
  
• You know who wears a lovely hat? Well, bonnet. A pretty, floral bonnet. Captain Mal Reynolds. I could surely use this to maximize my time enjoying Captain Mal's world.
  
• This one is a tough one. Because there are so many books I could want, but that's such a traditional explanation... So, since we're talking about books as a journey, I really wanted to put a choose-your-own-adventure book. But it hasn't come out yet, so I'll have to content myself with this journey provoker.
  
• Moving on to trunks. Trunks are storage, right? And I've got a bunch of jewelry that's just begging for a home. This looks like the perfect place for it.
  
• Finally, we come to capes. Superheros, wizards, Sherlock Holmes. All these people have a history of wearing capes. And wizards are a strange people, and we sometimes need to work to understand strange people. This book might help guide the way.

I'm not crafty and had troubles finding a foam board big enough, but I think it's wavy. Probably a better way to roll the sticker onto the board with two people, and using scissors to trim off excess cardboard wasn't the best idea, but when I saw my package had arrived, there wasn't much thought other than "I need this up on my wall ASAP"

10/10 would recommend. Find foam board first to avoid having to use two science fair boards instead.

1. I recommend this toaster from personal experience but unfortunately it's $60. :/ My mom has this toaster and swears by it, and it's only $40 though!
   
   
2. As for stuff to hang... Ive got a lot of ideas because Ive been looking for me too!!! i love really interesting pieces like this and this. these are really cheap and popular around here (i think theyd be super adorable on the fridge!) I had chalkboard in my old office/kitchen and I loved it. This is kind of silly but Ive always wanted one, haha. You'll probably need a clock, too.
