For reference I'm 5'4" and 145lbs but I weighed max 160 at the time of purchasing some of these items. I wear a size 29 jeans but sometimes I need a 30 or 28 depending on the cut/style. I am a 36c so sometimes finding shirts that fit is a mission. Hope this helps


Off shoulder dress. I use belt so I have a nicer shape. The girls fit nicely and the belt is a must so I don't feel like I'm wearing a poncho.

I wear these sightly high waisted with a spaghetti string shirt tucked in. They are comfy and the material is breathable. My hips feel happy and it hugs my curves nicely. I prefer my pants loose and I'm sure a 10 would fit but not as comfy as I'd like.

My Gymshark Ombre dupes on Amazon were a total hit! Just bought a second color. And this led me into trying an Energy Seamless dupe from AliExpress. Hopefully those turn out! Buying from AliExpress has me so nervous compared to Amazon.

Aliexpress is basically a site where you can order cheap or knock off things from China. The pair of leggings that she bought is probably from here since she said they were $17 lol. Many chinese sellers are also selling the same product on Amazon.

Yes to UA Cold Gear, but don't bother with the shiny kind you see in most stores. I have had the UA Cold Gear 4.0 for three winters now, just one pair, and I am in love. They are so comfy, they feel like pajamas, and they're far warmer than any of the other UA I have owned - I actually sold it all after getting these. The inside is a soft waffle-like texture, with smaller waffles on the lower leg, and the outside is smooth. I can't wear them above about 35 degrees because they're too warm, and that's coming from someone with circulation problems. They are worth the price!

It's been so long since I bought a sports bra that I'm not sure what to expect from them any more! I am a 32E/F-ish, FOB and projected w/ soft tissue so I have a lot to hold down (at least, a lot relative to what typical sports bras seem to be built for).

Can I expect full immobilization from a high impact sports bra like the Shock Absorber Ultimate Run Bra?

I tried on the Syrokan high impact sports bra in 32E and still had a small amount of up/down movement, although at least this bra actually did an okay job of encapsulating my breasts. Idk if sizing up to 32F would improve things?

Also ordered the Moving Comfort Fiona sports bra in 34DD, haven't tried it on yet.

Sports bras. If I want more immobilization, does going up a cup size (same band size) help or harm? How much movement reduction can I expect from a high impact sports bra? What features seem to help, in your experience?
