360 wired and still works like a champ. Play it with Clone Hero sometimes. That's wild that ol' hunk of plastic is worth money.

I just looked it up on Amazon. Wtf?!

You can also get a 5-pack of RHCP songs with specific RB3 bundles. Good luck with that, though. Your chances of finding one of those brand new at a reasonable price are essentially nonexistent.

I found it pretty easily-in the first search when typing it in Google-https://www.amazon.com/Mad-Catz-Rock-Band-PRO-Guitar-Bundle/dp/B006603V4U

I believe this pedal is from the Portable Drum Kit.

I don't mean to be rude, but it's called the Xplorer, and it's for GHII.

Yep, I actually saw someone post asking the same question I had and I already have the game up and running, I just need a controller. . . I tried playing with my keyboard and that's not happening lol. Maybe if I had a way to disable strumming it would be a little easier but hitting the notes and trying to strum at the same time with a keyboard is difficult.

Edit: Do you mean this controller? Is this the only wired controller that will work?

Not a real one, it's a controller for the game Rock Band...

u/Spookymikal · 1 pointr/RUGC_Midwest

I do.

For gaming the sound quality is good but half of that is honestly just good earcup design that blocks out a ton of external sound. Voice quality is clear on voice chat and I generally don't get many complaints about the mic quality (though sometimes programs like mumble adjust the volume of your mic and if you turn it down there it'll also turn it down in TF2 so watch out for that.)

If you're looking for EXCELLENT sound quality then USB just isn't gonna do it for you. Get These Headphones and then use This mic and set up some kinda mounting device for the mic.

TOTALY THIS Because I have RB1 drums and the blue is always making a wierd noise.

As for something on mine that I want but that is also awsome... New mic for Rock Band off my Games list. Because my old mic doesn't work right. And the other Mics I have don't work well with my games. The mics like this are the best.

Rock Band is the best game eva. I think we might already be twinsies . Oh just FYI, since I saw you wanted RB3 and the RB3 Keyboard... there is a bundle that is cheaper. that you might wanna check out. :)

And honestly just from looking at your games list I think I would probably trust you to pick something, but I honestly really could use that mic.... an also if you have GH or the other RB games and want to play sometime and have gold add me on the 360 Cellophane Girl :)

The PS2 market maybe. But for Xbox 360 and some PS3/Wii, Guitar Hero controllers always sell for good money.

I found one of these for $2 at a yard sale- http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Guitar-Hero-Stand-Alone/dp/B003814IYW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406440071&sr=8-1&keywords=guitar+hero+5+controller

If price is a concern (and these games can get very expensive), then you'll want look at a few options.

Beatles: Rock Band is $250 by itself. It only comes with one guitar, though. You can get a Beatles-style guitar for $100. RB2 is another $60, so the total would be about $410.

Another options, there's a good deal right now with the full RB1 set and RB2 for $80. Then getting just the Beatles game will put the total to $140. One more guitar (I recommend the RB2 wireless guitar) and your total will be $210. However, you will have the older, wired drumset and one wired guitar.

If that's a concern, then you can get the regular RB2 bundle $140, Beatles for $60, and one extra guitar for $60. Total $260. And then you'll just have to borrow/rent RB1.

In terms of quality: RB1 instruments are wired, RB2 are wireless (and the guitar has a small camera that helps calibrate the game with your TV, which is useful), and Beatles:RB are mostly the same as RB2, but styled to look like the original Beatles instruments.

They look to be wired, so at a minimum you'd also need the PDP Wired Adapter.

u/mattjames092 · 1 pointr/letsplay

Ah :/ bugger that. The Blue Snowball is about half the price?

Even try a RockBand mic? I've heard that they're compatible with PC's since it's just a USB mic...cheap as chips and semi-decent quality....

Whoa what? If your Toys R Us has them I suggest you buy them out and put them on Amazon, where they start at $160 new.

(And sell me one for much less because I have helped you make hundreds)
