My posture has never been this good before the strap has made a huge difference. This is how we do it: http://myfiveminuteyoga.com/303/take-your-shoulders-back-with-a-long-strap/

When you remove the strap your body remembers and it gets easier and easier to stand and walk straight.

Amazon has them for a good price. https://www.amazon.com/Yoga-Strap-Stretching-Instructional-Durable/dp/B00X7N1MRW/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1472860435&sr=1-1&keywords=yoga+straps+for+stretching

I saw someone on the Onewheel Facebook group recommending this yoga mat strap. The end loops are adjustable so you'd just slide them around each footpad and wear the pint like a duffel bag.
Hoping there will be more good ideas in this thread, I'm still trying to solve this too.

I dont think so or I dont know because these straps go around your arms not your wrist

Nothing in the rules says I can't share an outside link so here you go. This is the one I bought. My wife got one too. It has allowed her to get on the floor for the first time.

If you don't mind for your board to be exposed, yoga matt sling is ultra cheap and works well with longboards. Shorter board would probably hang lower, but it would still work.

Otherwise I'm not sure about the backpack. I own big 35L backpack that can carry week worth of groceries, but I struggled to fit small skateboard in it. I was able to put it inside, but it wasn't easy task and it wasn't comfortable to carry it there, so I can't imagine doing it on daily basis.

So if I was you, I would go for skateboard designed backpacks.

I bought this one twice from Amazon and it's help up really well! I found it on a hunt for an extra long mat and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I only had to rebuy because I used my first one outside and it became my "dirty" mat for the grass and beach. I use it with this strap and it's a bit bulky but not too heavy to carry around.

Plugging my company here, but I run Gurus (www.ilovegurus.com) and we sell 2 cork yoga mats. One has rubber on the back and one has a synthetic material called TPE on the back which makes it lighter and cheaper. Who don't use any PVC or BPA's and use a green glue to bind the cork to the rubber. It's a great mat and I think our reviews on Amazon show that: https://www.amazon.com/Gurus-Waterproof-Antimicrobial-Sustainably-Supportive/dp/B076HVP2KH/ Feel free to grab it there or hit me up if you want a coupon code.

Adding to this a pair of yoga straps like https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XYFTVDV/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this is great. You can pretty much use them as TRX at a fraction of the space taken up in your bag. They're also good for stretching and I use them at the gym for weighted pullups and dips.

Additionally you can use them to strap things to your bags or compress your luggage.

This is the one we use. Cheap and comfortable.

I just got this set http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006O09M4K?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 a couple of months ago and I love them. There is a large variety of resistances plus several anchor options. I also bought this http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y3VRLYA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3JAHJ1MH3XX3Q&coliid=I20QJ0RT0XEGC0&psc=1 and the combo has really helped my stretching.

Get this or similar: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UVOS7KA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_yBzcBbZR2RD3F

Just throw it over your shoulder diagonally. They are so light it won’t go anywhere.

Yoga gloves! They're useful for people with sweaty palms (like me).

I will have to check out that water bottle. My current one likes to leak when you lay it on its side. I need that "sport top" thing too.

Get back to the gym whenever you are able to. It's better to rest and let the infection disappear than to push yourself and not make any progress. That's just cause frustration.

Good job on that weight loss! You're so close to 40 lbs, you'll hit it this weekend!

I need this yoga strap! I do tons of yoga and used a strap at my local studio recently and LOVED it. I have tons of lower back pain due to fibromyalgia and pelvic floor dysfunction and a strap would help me so much with my home practice, especially because I'm moving away from my current studio. With a strap, I'm able to do some really deep lower back stretches that relieve so much pressure.

Edit: why am I being downvoted? Does this sub have something against yoga?
