Plans to build a 6′-10″ x 8′-0″ (82″ wide x 96″ long) hobby greenhouse. This is the digital version of the printed plans, a 47 page pdf file which includes a complete materials list, full cut list, step by step assembly drawings, and complete detail drawings including drawings for each component and templates to cut angles. This greenhouse design was developed out of the necessity for an inexpensive, sturdy, functional and aesthetically pleasing alternative to the aluminum and plastic panel greenhouse kits. It is a hobby greenhouse that can be built from standard 2×3 and 2×4 framing lumber and covered with greenhouse plastic. My objective was to create plans that were different from most of the others out there. i wanted to give step by step instructions with assembly drawings so the not-so-handy person could understand them and be able to build a greenhouse. i wanted to include all of the information to make it easy for anyone to build from these plans. When i first built this greenhouse, five years ago, the total cost for materials was about $150.
