Usually, when an object is designed, shape, size, and function are taken into consideration. The designers wanted to create something different, but still classic and simple; something that would allow an object to take over a space and change the atmosphere of it. They created Alia. The candle holder consists of two basic forms, which together can be transformed and placed in various ways. Alia allows for free compositions based on the users’ own space and puts emphasis on the relationship between form, place, and moment. The more units one has – the more combinations can be created.
