This Item is a one of a kind Antique Japanese bamboo basket, lacquered in a dark red brown finish. It is approximately 14 inches high and approximately 10 inches wide. The shape is pleasant to the eye with the roundness where the bottom has legs. Hand woven by a craftsperson who likely spent many years working in basketry. Japan has created a National Treasure status for these crafts makers in their country.
