Collection ?New Romance Aleksander Pushkin wrote a wonderful lovestory about a young girl of the gentry, living in the country. She longed to see the beautiful son of the neighbour her father and the neighbour despised each other thats why they could not meet. But she is a clever girl she dresses up as a peasant girl and meets him in secret. Of course they fall in love and unlike Romeo and Juliet get their happy end. This lovely little story was the inspiration for my new collection. Lisa is a clever self-confident, yet romantic young woman the ideal role model for my new collection, spreading lightness of being and happiness. In the new collection i combine for the first time the two spheres of my work the bridal and the fashion for each day. i think it is the best way to show , that you can wear romantic, yet casual fashion, ready for life. The pieces of the collection are named after the heroines of the love story Lisa, Nastja, Akulina. Of course the selection of the fabrics is a fine one: Sustainable organic cotton, Dupionsilk?and i got wonderful vintage-lace from the 1960ies. a lot of real handwork is in the pieces hand stitching, knitting and sewing, of course. a special treat in this ?New romance are the lovely purses my wonderful colleague Aileen of einhoernerstattponys for this collection. She creates and produces as me in Berlin, working with sustainable organic leather. The purses have her name Aileen. i am looking forward to your feedback Sandra
