Carat lamp is a jewel pendant lamp designed by Sander Mulder. A special finish on the outside of the shade makes it gleam like an emerald in the dark, while the reflective white inside allows for optimal lighting. Diamond cutting requires art, skill and, increasingly, science to transform a rough stone into a faceted gem. This intricate modular lampshade design was conceived with the same ingredients and consists of 9 identical parts and an astounding 36 facets.

Carat Lamp is made from lacquered aluminium available in graphite and jade metallic, gold or chrome mirror.
The cable is available in braided black, red, yellow, blue for $6 additional charge to the price.
