The Conceal Shelf, designed by Miron Lior, is a winner of the annual Umbra-Pratt Institute Design Competition. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of this product are donated to the Pratt Institute School of Design in New York City.

Each year, students of the Pratt Institute’s Industrial Design program are invited to submit their designs to a panel of judges, who award the products that best reflect the Umbra design sensibility and incorporate originality, wit and manufacture-ability.

Winning designs are considered for manufacture and distribution by Umbra. If the design is put into production, the student and the Pratt Institute receive a portion of the proceeds from the product’s sales.
