Dead Bolt Mailbox

Dead Bolt Mailbox
Reviewed by

This is the steel mailbox that prevents theft by storing mail inside a dead-bolted vault. The 14-gauge, powder-coated steel mailbox’s door locks with two steel dead bolts and is only accessible when the correct code (one to eight digits) is entered on the electronic keypad. If an incorrect code is entered 10 consecutive times, the vault automatically denies further key entry.

Approved by the United States Postal Service, the mailbox has a 10 1/2″ W x 2 3/4″ H chute that easily accommodates magazines or a box of checks (but thwarts prying hands), the interior holds a week’s worth of envelopes, and the flag alerts couriers to outbound mail, which remains accessible between the exterior door and the vault. Requires four AA batteries. Includes detailed instructions for installing the pole and the mailbox. Black or White. 44″ H x 12 1/3″ W x 21″ D. (55 lbs.)
