Distressed arched frames set of two. Many wood products on Etsy are made from either mdf or thin plywood. Our gothic styled farmhouse shutters are made from hefty 3/4 inch ac pine plywood. The thicker plywood provides sturdiness so it will not be flimsy. Also, unlike other types of plywood where the outside wood is only a very thin veneer (about 1/32 inch or 5-6 sheets of paper). The plywood we use has a thick outside ply of nearly 1/8 inch, much thicker than the veneers on other plywoods. We will stain or either distress with chalk paint to provide a shabby chic look.
