Easy Script Lettering Workbook Learn Freehand Script

Hello fellow letterers and those who wish to learn how! My name is cj Hughes. i am a commercial artist specializing in lettering and chalk. You may have seen my work in tv, in a magazine or even in your mailbox. I’ve had so many folks ask how to get started in lettering that I’ve decided to pen a series of digital books called “Easy Lettering.” Each instant download & print book features a signature lettering style. Some will also feature how to add flourishes, shadows and dimension to your lettering. This listing is for the first download & print book in the series: easy script lettering workbook In this freehand lettering how to you will learn the basics of freehand script lettering. i won’t bore you with a lot of typography jargon, the instruction portion of this workbook is only two pages long. It will give you the basics and then you can get started right away practicing. This series of books works best when paired with Crayola Broad Line markers. They can be found in just about any grocery or craft store. You can also use Sharpie Fine Point marker, just know they aren’t as easy to letter with as the Crayola markers. Your supplies list is very short for these workbooks. All you really need is a marker, some paper and a printer. The workbook will outline how to prepare your work space, what posture to use and how to hold your markers. It also goes into the basic strokes for freehand script lettering so that you know how to make each stroke and when. Unlike some other lettering workbooks on Etsy you will receive the entire alphabet in the easy script lettering workbook. That means that uppercase, lowercase, numbers and a few extra characters like !, &, ?
