Karen King needed to create a unique type of pillow speak with these instances. Each pillowcase’s aspect contains a single phrase: get and make on one, and up and out on the opposite. “Just make sure they say what you mean when your partner wakes up.”
The pillowcases are screen-printed in Karen’s downtown Toronto workshop. “Then they’re dried to heat set. Then there’s a lot of folding involved. These don’t have an overly glamorous production story.” A set of two, obtainable in commonplace or king measurement and in a selection of white, mild gray, or darkish gray.
