The heart of our unique lighting system is a 2-part electrical transfer switch we call the “Orbiter” which is mounted in each wheel. The Orbiters transfer the power from our rechargeable 9800 lithium ion batter (mounted under your seat) into the wheel powering a “Staggering 240 High Intensity 12 volt LEDs in EACH Wheel”. This has been the problem with all other bicycle wheel lights..without the Orbiter, the battery must be small and “inside the wheel” which limits the size and number of lights. in other words…shorter glow time with lots of batteries to buy weekly and we all know, they are not cheap! Our lighting system is unmatched anywhere!
Our long lasting large capacity battery will give you 4 to 5 hours of glow time per charge and be ready to go by sundown for the next night’s ride. You are supplied with a lamp charger which will fully charge an exhausted battery in 10 hours.
