La Cupola, presented four years after La Conica, is the latest development in Aldo Rossi’s on-going research into coffee makers. Cast from aluminum and sold at around a third of the price of its older sister (which is made from stainless steel and has a thick copper base), it is Rossi’s answer to the classic espresso coffee maker, and his attempt to fulfill his dream of a “coffee maker for all”.
