Lateralis table lamp is a wonderful hand-crafted design object by Innermost. Lateralis is composed of four encased pieces made of noble and contrasted materials featuring perfectly crafted details.
The light seems to escape from the top and laterally through the central mouth-blown white glass piece. This piece from glass is located in a glass bell in a warm honey colour. The light collects in a pool from dark ash wood downwards. The latter rests on an elegant base from polished brass which reflects the wood’s grain.
The table lamp Lateralis is a beautiful luminous light object which shines with a mysterious light on the side tables and consoles.
Ben McCarthy’s design for Lateralis, awarded the German Design Award 2016 Special Mention for Excellent Product Design.
