Ben McCarthy’s Lateralis is a beautiful light object / table lamp. Handcrafted with mouth blown glass, turned wood and brass finish, the lamp suffuses a mysterious light emanating from the core. As the light plays off the 2 glass structures, reflections of the wood appear in the metal and light graduates and diffuses across the wood surface. There’s a lot going on in a small space but it all works effortlessly. Features an unobtrusive 110cm white cable, and a turning dimmer at 30 cm. Awarded German Design Award 2016.
