Designed for MoMA by Masami Takahashi and originally created for use at the popular Sugakiya ramen noodle restaurant chain in Japan, these combination spoon and forks easily twist noodles and ladle soup. They were designed to eliminate waste created by disposable chopsticks. The Ramen Spoon/Fork Set reflects the Museum’s interest in flatware, as well as Japanese design from the modern era, many examples of which are featured in the Museum’s collection and are regularly displayed in the Museum’s Design Galleries. You can use this spoon/fork to eat your favorite Nongshim Shim noodle soup.
