Rare 1920s SCARAB Vintage Glass Cabachon Stones Egyptian

These are hands down the most rare stones i have ever had- i don’t have many left. These are lovely Rare Vintage Glass stones in a scarab shape- the back is scarab too. The color is a crackly olive green with a little copper edge. They have very three dimentional top. Some are darker green, and others lighter; some have more copper edge than others. The photo doesn’t do these justice. about 14×10- 15×11 mm They are from the 1920s Quantity: 1 pc unfoiled back with detailing of the bottom of the insect- very detailed! domed top i know they are from the 1920s- i have seen some set into jewelry from that era. There was a huge design movement after King Tut was dicovered in 1922. Jewelry, clothing, interior design became facinated with everything ancient Egyptian. Google it for more info. There was a whole fashion of using the real beetles in jewelry. they would chill them into hibernation i believe. These are glass- some were chipped so I’ve seen the black glass inside. I’m guessing they were made in france, germany or czechoslovakia . i bought them without any orginal or labeled packaging. The coating on the outside is done by hand and does not come off with normal wear. i imagine the colors were a multiple part process. That’s about all i know. i have been using vintage glass stones for 30 years, and i have never seen anything like them. And I’ve seen thousands of styles from a 100 years of glass and nothing like these.
