The Scandia Series was designed in 1957 by Hans Brattrud of Norway. The chairs were produced until the 1970’s when the factory burned down and production ceased. In 2001, Paal Lunder founded the Norwegian furniture manufacturer, Fjord Fiesta and made it his goal to bring Scandia back.
Working closely with Hans Brattrud, Fjord Fiesta was able to re-create this chair and ensure each detail was as perfect as the original chair. Scandia is an iconic masterpiece we warmly welcome back!
