Our cats kept fighting over who got to lay in the plush bed, so much that we decided to make a larger, more roomy bed. The bed has a padded burlap bottom and the sides are lined with sisal. It is big enough for our 12 pound cat Heisenberg and our kitten Lylah to share or for 16 pound Ickle to spread out completely on it.
Even though we created this bed with the intent of our cats being able to share, Ickle immediately made it his own. We built the piece to go along with our Sisal Collection with the burlap tops, but we can also use the softer Plush Fabric to match the plush-covered shelves.
We attach brackets for easy installation. They’re spaced out for studs at 16″. Please let us know when you order if your studs are spaced differently. All of our furniture also comes with screws and drywall anchors.
