After your dog passes through, the pet door will relock again automatically. Animals without the SmartKey are not able to enter.
You may have a total of 5 SmartKeys in use at one time. The PetSafe Electronic Pet Door allows you to control the access of your pets. When the SmartDoor is set to Automatic mode, only your pets wearing the SmartKey can pass through the pet door. Without the SmartKey, no other animals can pass through the dog door.
