This steampunk skirt is a variation of our ever popular Parlour Bustle Skirt, called the Grand Bustle, which is ideal as part of a Victorian costume or goth outfit. It can be worn over an underskirt as shown for a really dramatic effect. Or it can be worn on it’s own for a more daring steampunk outfit. grand bustle overskirt with custom fabric and lace colours. The front features elegant apron drapery, pleated at the side of the hips, while hand stitched ruching at the back creates the gorgeous waterfall effect. There is enough excess in the fabric to wear a bustle pad if you desire for that extra historical detail. Beautiful venice lace flows down the side and around the hem at the back. There are two buttons on the waistband to give you a couple of inches flexibility. The skirt is made from high quality, polyester taffeta which is elegant, crisp and silk- like. It can be made in a huge variety of colours from purples and pinks to silvers and blues. Please ask if you have a colour in mind. Poly taffeta is easy to care for and can be machine washed.
