The majestic Weeping Willow trees are starting to take their draping outline with these elongated leaves and I’ve immortalized two of them in this simple design. i took these leaves after careful selection and gently pressed the underside of the leaf onto Precious Metal Clay. This clay is so fun to use as the medium for botanical jewelry because it captures the fine detailing of veins on the leaves unlike any other jewelry making process. This is not Sterling silver sheet metal that has been pressed and cut…..this is organically made from the leaf itself!
