Winner of a furniture competition at the rhus School of Architecture in Denmark in 1999, Flemming Busks Twilight Sleep Sofa distills the concept of a convertible couch to a simple cylinder and rectangle. A compact and nicely scaled sofa, the bolster pillow adjusts to three different positions for customized seat depths (19.5″/23″/34.75″) and lumbar support. The Twilight offers further options by converting into a daybed, queen-size bed or two twin beds. To transform Twilight into a comfortable sleeping space for two, simply move the bolster out of the way and place the top cushion on the floor.
The two mattresses, when pushed together are larger than a queen-size bed, but not quite as large as a king. For sheets, use two twin extra-long fitted sheets with coordinating flat sheets or one king-size flat sheet. A great small space solution, Twilight turns any room into a guest room. The slipcover is removable for cleaning and is welted at the seams with contrast piping for a clean aesthetic. Casters on the rear legs make for easy mobility. Made in Denmark.
