The factory began in 1842 and went on to acquire two more stamping companies, one in the early 1900’s and one in the mid 1900’s. Hence they own an inexhaustible selection of molds of their tooled brass stampings. With such a large inventory of molds at their disposal they do not regularly produce all their models. As it turns out they actually put into production a very tiny fraction of their models. Much of what i offer to you from them has sat on their old shelves for a very long time. As is evident by their rustic patina’s that i often receive them in. This is why most of the stampings i offer are in limited quantities. Once their inventory of a particular model is depleted it is no longer available unless ordered into production with a minimum quantity of 300 or more pieces. Also, with the acquisition of the other companies immense inventory (that i saw when i was there) as well as the inventory they have created through the many decades makes it most often impossible to give you accurate dates of manufacture of particular models. It is my ongoing true pleasure to be a part of bringing to you these small works of art. Some are signed by the artist and many were commissioned by artists of that era. These are enjoyed as collector items, as once the tooling of a model breaks or becomes worn the model will cease to be produced ever again.
