Vintage Glass Intaglio of a Woman with a Spiderman PP

Image of a woman with a web with a spider. Spiders body is a mans body. The woman is in gold on a black background. The size is 25 x 18mm high.. They were manufactured in the 1940-50’s in Western Germany. These are glass cabochons containing intaglio images or scenes. Each piece was hand-painted into a reverse carved image. Because they are so intricate and tiny its difficult to manufacture them today. Current high manufacturing costs make producing these crystals cost prohibitive. As a result, these crystals have become sought after rarities and historical treasures.
