Take a great quality cycling jacket – Dupont Teflon®-coated rainproof and breathable fabric, all round ventilation, taped seams – and then embed a toal of 23 integrated high intensity LEDs, both front (white) and back (red) to increase your visibility. Then add motion-activated, self-cancelling turn indicators – these are completely intuitive – you simply raise your arm to activate them, and they self cancel – so you do what you normally do when cycling. Power the jacket with a USB-rechargeable battery with up to 30 hours between charges. Make the electronics washable – you simply detatch and remove the battery first.
