I think the narrative as it now stands is almost perfect as is, so I wouldn't worry overmuch about packing more content into it--that's what sequels and related books are for. :) But there are certain scenes/ideas/plot-points that could do with more integration. Nonetheless, the whole segmented, "shattered mirror" nature of the work as a whole is a BIG part of what makes it work, especially since it leaves the majority of work connecting everything together to the reader.

Josh Scher's novel Here & There does an AMAZING job of doing just that, although it's considerably more linear in nature. I'd suggest checking it out so you can see how Scher handles the text--and because it's a BAD-ASSED book about teleportation, quantum computing, the multiverse, and time travel!

Not a story itself but there is a great book by Frank Rose about immersive storytelling which pointed me to some really interesting things, especially those making fiction using non-traditional media.

Lillith's Brood is a great place to start with her.
