I noticed serious brain fog about two weeks in. Luckily, it subsided after about a week. It honestly just felt like my body was getting used to the medicine. I upped my water intake (about a gallon a day) and have felt fine ever since. The only thing is that I am more tired at the end of the day... but don't stress too much! I work in a fast paced, numbers oriented office and can still focus perfectly fine. Just make sure that you are hydrated and getting enough sleep. :)

I also exercise 3-4 times a week and have experienced no joint pain whatsoever. I'm still able to lift weights without a problem. I do use supplements tho: fish oil, and glucosamine chondroitin, so this may partially be why I am A ok? My derm approved both for use.

Thank you thank you! I ordered that shampoo you recommended off of Amazon and have noticed a HUGE improvement in my dandruff -back to being much more manageable instead of me wanting to itch my head every 5 minutes.

I also picked up a shampoo brush which came recommended by people who bought the shampoo on Amazon and that has definitely helped too. It helps to lift the flakes and make sure the shampoo actually penetrates your skin.

Thank you ♥️ my doses were as follows:
Month 1:
20mg
Month 2 & 3:

Month 4:

Luckily I never really popped my pimples so I never got deep scars; only hyperpigmentation. I avoid the sun like the plague so that's going away on its own.

Extremely SENSITIVE SKIN FRIENDLY :D

I'm such a dry shampoo girl, but once I started my course I started getting itchy and flaky. I use this shampoo right now, it's not marketed as a dandruff shampoo but it pretty much took care of my issues in one wash! I was looking for a different one at the store but they didn't have it, but I'm pleasantly surprised with this tbh. I use it once every three to four days with dry shampoo in between.

For the avocado oil, I use the brand Olivado. You can usually find this one in the grocery store where all the regular cooking and olive oils are.

I like using the sweet almond oil the best from Aura Cacia. I believe this brand has an avocado oil also. This brand's oils are usually in the skin care aisle of the organic/natural section of grocery stores. If you can't find it there, the brand may also be at a local health food/organic store!

I use these ones, and I think they're great.

Avoid ones that are for redness relief, as those can actually end up drying your eyes out more. Make sure you go for the lubricating eye drops.

There are a variety of Head and Shoulders products. Back when I was researching the topic I discovered that apparently there is a difference between dandruff and dry scalp? Either way, that worked great for me.

You may also benefit from not shampooing every day. I've switched to every other day.

Move Free Advanced. My joint pain started really earl. I lift weights 5x a week and was in so much pain by month 2. When i take my Move Free 2x a day, i can still work out without much pain and discomfort. Totally saved my mobility too.

Glucosamine!! You will notice the difference very quickly, but you have to take it multiple times a day. This brand was suggested to me by another person on this sub: https://www.amazon.com/Move-Free-Advanced-Plus-tablets/dp/B001W2MBSE/ref=sr_1_5_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1524092866&sr=1-5&keywords=move+free
It's more of a band-aid than a fix, but it's better than nothing

I have severe acne and have been on accutane for over a year. I used cerave but it still left me dry. I switched to rose hip oil straight from the bottle and my skin cleared up very quickly.

My triglycerides went from 123 to 255 on 40mg accutane. I just ordered Omega 3 Fish Oil and it went down to 170 after a month. Depends on your doctor some get really paranoid. Mine did after a big jump like that. Like lordlaser said my doctor seemed really inexperienced with Accutane. But if it keeps rising do what I did and take a lot of Omega 3 pills.

Pure USP grade lanolin.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000V70MWS/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?qid=1416982326&sr=8-6&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70

I put it on a few times a day, into month 5 and my lips are perfectly supple and painless, no cracking or crusting whatsoever. It feels so good on my lips, couldn't live without it. I have one tin at home, one in my pocket, and one at work.

If you get the pure medical grade stuff, there's almost no smell or taste. I would personally tend to avoid a hydrocortisone product except as a last resort.

I was in the same situation, but i was also battling excessive dandruff too. I used Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic to treat the dandruff, but it also made my face and lips moist and not peel either unintentionally.

Moisturize your nostrils with some saline solution. You can buy it at any of your local Walgreens, CVS, or pharmacies.

u/bpe9 · 2 pointsr/Accutane

They are silicon gel in sheet form (https://www.amazon.com/Cica-Care-Silicone-Sheeting-Sterile/dp/B000BZA9W8?th=1). I don't know much about them sorry and I haven't bought them yet because my pharmacy didn't have any, Im going to buy online soon. I think keloids can be permanent if not treated, but they can flatten and fade away with treatment.

u/BAHH_De · 1 pointr/Accutane

Hey bro, coming from someone with a similar complexion as yours.

How many months are you in? Can you avoid the sun as much as possible? Apply sunscreen day/night. Moisturize often.
I've been using [this aloe Vera toner](Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera, 12 oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00016XJ4M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_FdoBzb31HG2G7) it's been so clutch for redness.

Don't pick, despite any urges. Drink water.

Hope this helps.

I use Ponaris; the smell is not the most pleasant but it's drastically cut down on the dryness and bloody noses.
