This album artwork was created by Adde Russell who also did the artwork for Transatlanticism. His website is currently down but you can see some of his other work over at discogs.
Another fun fact: this album was recorded in a farmhouse in "the middle of nowhere", Massachusetts. You can read a lot about their experience recording Plans and see some wonderful pictures in Autumn de Wilde's Death Cab for Cutie.
Do you have spotify or google play? If not you might just try buying the thing. If you liked the one track you heard, I imagine you'll like the rest
I love the cover, but can't stand the album. I'm more of a fan of their self titled album.
And for anyone who doesn't know, PFI is the solo side project of Claudio Sanchez from Coheed and Cambria. Its mostly electronica and some acoustic stuff. Its got a weird twist and its pretty great.
Here's a sad song.
Here's a song about Freddy Kreuger finally getting some love.
And here's a link to buy.
Shane Alexander is an indie/acoustic rock artist. This is his 5th album, and it's much more sparse and ambient than his previous work (and, according to Wikipedia, pays tribute to his more psychedelic influences). I can't seem to find any of the final tracks on this album on YouTube, although you can preview them on Amazon here (personal favorites being "One So Young" and "Far as I can Tell").

It's not even original to copy the Sgt Peppers cover. [Frank Zapper] (http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61G6gcrU%252ByL._SY300_.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.amazon.com/Were-Only-Money-Frank-Zappa/dp/B0000009RX&h=225&w=225&tbnid=RSdNywH7Vb1dqM:&zoom=1&tbnh=160&tbnw=160&usg=__Hmrq6h9U5bkQk18z3YxAk8pLZnk=&docid=xMjVvr5ycS7fKM&itg=1&client=safari&sa=X&ei=-_VOU-TZDq3T7Aa_84DgDg&ved=0CKcBEPwdMAs) did it first and better.

It's a unique cover that definitely drew mixed reactions when people first saw it, but I think it grew on people over time. It's a classic pop punk album from one of the staples of the genre.

I believe I got it through a vendor on Amazon. It looks like there are more options this time. Also, now that I think about it I think it is only a single LP, but I do remember it being a gatefold. I haven't listened to my records in awhile.
Yeah, might not be from the album. It'a all I could find on the web with a quick search. This album is on Discogs, in vinyl and CD form. Not sure if you want to hear it that bad. lol.
Apparently it's on Amazon Streaming if you got that.
I didn't know that. I just recently bought this, which is a limited edition colored vinyl release. I thought the different artwork looked cool.
I've been listening to Refinement of the Decline to fall asleep for years. Although its so soothing, I find myself laying awake listening anyway.
Here is a much hugeified copy of the cover
