This is a really cool book that came out last year about the history of the team. Some of the copies I've seen even come signed by Acosta and Brown. It would be extra awesome if you got it autographed by some of the players too.

Mine did the same as well after wearing it all through the 2018 season and fabric glue certainly did the trick. This is what I ended up using with a q-tip to apply it to the back of the logo. After letting it set for a couple of days there has been no further issue at all. Used the same glue to resolve some peeling letters from one of the gold letter jerseys that were available last year as well.

Acceptable anime movies is a more broad category, but there still are strict standards: Akira, GiTS, Princess Mononoke, Spriggan, Vampire Hunter D, and Ninja Scroll. There are others (basically anything Miyazaki touches is gold), but, as with all anime, it is easy to go wrong.
