I was pleasantly surprised to find our favorite console in a Japanese comic, Livingstone vol 3 by Tomohiro Maekawa (Author), Jinsei Kataoka (Illustrator). I hadn't even realized the Jaguar was sold in Japan, but it turns out that it was.
The other two systems are a Panasonic 3DO and the Sega Mark III (Sega Master System in the US.) I assume the joke is that they were all flops, although the Mark III sold 1.7 million units in Japan, vs the Jaguars 15,000 units.
