And have a set screw to help keep the head on for throwing so you dont have to knock it back on every other throw.
For the general axe I just go with the Axe Gang or the Cold Steel Comp Thrower. For big axe, HB AGDOR Montreal pattern works best (in my opinion).
Also look into getting a whetstone or a sharpening puck too to keep those edges razor sharp.
Once you get a season or two under your belt then start looking at better axes. They probably will need to be profiled as the blade profile will be thicker and prone to bounce out.

It doesn’t actually do anything until it’s been soaking for a while, so always spray your targets at least 15 minutes before! And seriously soak it, you’ll save more wood the more you spray it
