thanks dude, glad to hear he's nice in person. If you can track down Twice Seven (https://www.amazon.ca/Twice-Seven-Ben-Bova-ebook/dp/B00HN83XI8/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_1?keywords=twice+seven+bova&qid=1557511989&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmrnull) by Bova its worth a read. It's a collection of short stories, and you can see him step out of his usual MO a couple times

I have a similar EDC, and I really like the Baglett by Healthy Back Bag :

Healthy Back HBB Microfibre Baglett 7100 Unisex Adult's Shoulder Bag 13x21x7.5 cm (B x H x T) Black Size: Unique Size https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001CMJMUE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_OOAADb7QJT8JP

Been using this for a few months, I got the small in coffee. It's not perfect but I love it. I plan to mod it (when I get time) to round out the imperfections, and it's cheap enough that I can just order another if my unskilled mods ruin it.

For example, I'd like to replace the rectangular rings connecting the strap with something removable, maybe even just small carabiners. I'd also like the front panel to be a bit more secure when the center snap isn't snapped. Still brainstorming that one.

It's too small to call a messenger bag. It absolutely is a man purse. I call it my satchel or just bag, but I have simply accepted that other people are going to call it a man purse. Idgaf, it's about time we had a little more equality anyway.

I carry the Dayfarer sling with this bottle.

Nalgene 12 Oz Flask, Red https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001C1RQO4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_fw9PDbHMBKDE6

This sling can hold a little or a lot comfortably. I also carry a Dell XPS 13 (which just barely fits), iPad Pro 10.5, Roav sunglasses, regular glasses, and a Marmot Ion lightweight jacket.

Perhaps the amazon basics travel organizer? It’s got a little bit of organization but no straps for cords or anything, just some mesh pouches.
