I ordered a 1000 pack of vegetable (not glycerin) based 00 capsules from Amazon, and they work great. Here's the link:

You can vacuum seal them without canning though. I use the FreshSaver handheld device and have both the regular and wide mouth jar accessories.
Amazon product #s: B005FBQR38 (handheld sealer) and B06X9F3F8W (Regular and Wide but they are available separately too)
If you already have a FoodSaver vacuum sealer, many of them already contain the hose you can use to work with the jar sealer accessories. But I still find the handheld one convenient.
Edit: Looks like it's cheaper right now to get the two jar accessories separately (B0000CFFS6 and B01M61ET1Z).

I have a bunch of these and keep them in a drawer. The only time it smells is when I open one to pull some out to grind.
i'd really recommend this one, it's such good quality and the parts never get stuck due to the grip on the outside. i've had this one for about a year now and it's never given me any problems, no rust or paint chipping at all.

this is the double boiler im looking at so im just straining into this with either method, and then boiling off then repeating? (I will prefer a cleaner run then a 2nd run)
