I've heard very good things about the Le'aokuu Hip Bag, which isn't quite a fanny pack but you can certainly make it one if you change up the straps. It's really great since it doesn't just clamp around your waist but also around your thigh, making it optimal for movement. It's also pretty stylish, which is a plus!

Here's a good review on the bag, although the one he is reviewing I believe is smaller. If anything, hip bags could be something to look into!

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I bought the Intuous art small - basically the cheapest one with touch capabilities. I set it in "pen mode" as grey noted and I'm loving it so far. I've posted the Amazon Uk link below.

One of them was The Checklist Manifesto. I read this one and really enjoyed it.

I don't remember many of them, but I'm quite sure you should start with David Allen's "Getting Things Done".

Slightly different style, but this is what I would buy (or something similar) to fill the purpose:

There's a book titled The Big Sort: Why the Clustering of Like-Minded America is Tearing Us Apart by Bill Bishop. I haven't read it myself and only came across it yesterday, but it seems relevant to what we're discussing here.
