A cool way of giving your dog a great work out, without overstressing the body, is a flirt pole. I got one for Capone, and he's loving it! As am I!!! It get's him nice and tired, way more than any walk ever would. I've heard you shouldn't run or weight train them until at least 1.5 so that you don't mess up the hips, growth plates, or bone development... I've talked to my vet about it and he says the flirt pole is great!!
Here's what I use
Enjoy!!
A harness is just a training aid and should not be relied on long term. Same for the rest if the suggestions. I used a Freedom no pull harness with my corso. She has a few pounds on my gf and it worked great. It has clips on the front and back to when she pulls it tightens at the chest and tugs at the shoulders.

We use one this and it has a spot to clip in the front. When she pulls she basically does a circle. It also allows you to restrain them in the car.
Our pup was not good on leash walks at first. She was distracted by everything and wanted to chew on the leash, or pull like a sled dog. The best thing we came up with were high value treats. Our pup likes stinky treats, so salmon jerky did the trick after about a week.
Try to break it now, because these big dogs can pull themselves (and you) into traffic or worse.
You may also look into vibration collars. Consult your trainer first.

I like it. Currently have the large, fits snug, reflective, has a handle and two leash connect points.
