I have had no issues hooking up my LL120's in the 280x case using Y-splitters for fan power. The RGB cables from each fan go into the RGB hub box, as usual (then from the hub box into the included lighting node in the 280x). The fans are 4-pin so be sure to get 4-pin splitters, originally I had some that were 4-pin on one end and 3-pin on the other and needed new ones.

If you do need another USB header, I found a cheaper USB splitter on Amazon that works very well and is far cheaper than the NZXT hub (though the NZXT hub is a lot more flexible).

In my 280x build, I have a H100i as exhaust; the fans it came with are connected to the pump itself for both power and RGB. The included LL120's in front and on bottom are all connected to the included hardware in the 280x (RGB hub and then into port #1 on the lighting node pro). The fans are powered off motherboard fan headers with Y-splitters, two per header. This means I only get RPM reports for one fan (the other is just pass-through power) but since the fans are identical it's not a big issue. The AIO is hooked up to the AIO fan header. I have one of those USB splitters linked to to connect both the H100i and the lighting node to a single USB 2 internal header. No issues at all with this setup.

I also have a lighting node pro expansion kit (RGB strips) in there hooked up to the 280x's native lighting node on port #2.

You could opt for a Commander pro, which is nice because it breaks out every fan's RPM separately, but it's a bit pricey if you have enough fan headers on your motherboard, and it sounds like you can get by without it.

I used these splitters from Amazon but only because I was in a hurry and they were same-day delivery. They're kind of short to pass through the top opening in the 280x, but they just barely reached. If your fan headers are on the side of the motherboard they're probably fine.

I have the same case, fans and aio. Temps are awesome! I actually don't have the commander pro so mine is a rat's nest with the two separate hubs that came with the fans. I did use this sata powered fan splitter which made my life a little easier.

Good luck!

u/petascale · 1 pointr/Corsair

I would go with one commander pro and a PWM y-splitter (example), so you run two of the fans off the same header.

You could also use any powered PWM fan hub (example) and plug it into the PSU (for power) and motherboard (for fan control), if the PSU has a spare molex- or SATA power connector and the mobo has a spare fan header. You can't use iCue to control fan speeds here; instead you'll use BIOS, or the motherboard fan control software, or third-party software like SpeedFan.

That's for controlling fan speed, assuming you know how to set up the RGB part.

A nice little extra "touch" to the K95 Plat is the PBT Double-Shot keycaps. They feel amazing, and almost make it a deeper sound when keys are pressed.

The texture of the keys make the experience of the keyboard even more over the top than delivered right out of the box.

You'll have to double check how your board is set up, but it will most likely be fine without the angle. I just looked in my case, and I have about 2 inches from where it plugs in, to the top of the graphics card. And the plug sits about 3/4 of an inch off the top of the board. So that should work fine.

Edit: I'm assuming you live in the US, so I'm going to provide American links.
You could do this too,

Yeah it’s the alt keys, windows key, space bar, and the page key (Idk what it’s called). They have caps but you have to sand them down in order for them to fit. The space bar key won’t fit at all.

Here are the keys

That’s odd. My solution would be to get this splitter. I have this splitter myself with no complains. Obviously no software required and works perfectly as expected. Not sure why the USB on your commander pro isn’t functioning, but this can be the only solution I can provide. Others may have different solutions. You could always try submitting an RMA or calling Corsair support over the phone.

You may find this a little more suitable. It's not a full length but it is a tad more ergonomic. I bought it for the same reason you mentioned though I just use no wrist wrest now. There is also this which doesn't attach to the keyboard itself but it still a pretty comfortable option. I've also used these and if I had choose between the stock wrist wrest, the "FPS" wrest, or the foam one, I'd probably choose the foam.

u/REIGNx777 · 1 pointr/Corsair

If you're open to a soft wrist pad as an alternative (well, it's not squishy-soft, it's actually quite firm), check out the Grifiti ones on Amazon. They've got a few different sizes. I love mine

If you're just going for looks and don't need/want extra ram. Corsair makes some uber cheap "light enhancement" sticks to make it look like you're running 4 sticks. Full slots always look better imo.

This is a better idea than trying to top mount it with offset bracket. Think of it this way: A normal air powered heat sink takes in case air and uses it to wick away CPU heat (moving the heat into the case,) which hopefully gets exhausted by fans. So a front mounted radiator would take in fresh air from outside the case and use it to wick away CPU heat (also moving heat into the case) which is also exhausted by case fans.

If you already have a filter in the front of the case, you're saving yourself the tedious task of cleaning your radiator all the time too.

If you still want to consider fan offsets, https://www.amazon.com/Radiator-Mounting-Bracket-Set-6-32/dp/B008BWQOBI/ that might work. Those little things look like they'll move the whole assembly down and away by a couple CM. It breaks the "seal" on the top though, allowing some hot air to recycle back in if the exhaust pressure is too low. I'd try to follow /u/xDougiie's advice.

Another option for you would be to use a PWM hub for the fans on the radiators - since you'd like want all of the radiator fans at the same speed. This hub (https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-System-Cables-Black-CPF04/dp/B00VNW556I), for example, takes a single PWM signal in and the duplicates it to all of the connected fans. Since it has its own power supply, you don't have to worry about overloading the CoPro's fan headers. Two of those would cover the 12 planned radiator fans and take up only 2 connections on the CoPro. You'd still need a Lighting Node Pro for the RGB control. Unfortunately, the HD multipacks do not come with a NoPro.

K65, but it uses Red switches as opposed to the Blues in the K70. Personally, I’m waiting for them to release a Wireless K63 with Browns; or a TKL Strafe.

Edit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F74F00I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Y8v.BbT17VQMR

Alternatively, the K63 is significantly cheaper and has the same form factor you’re looking for as well.

Thermaltake 200mm PCI-e riser, It is a good one but I would suggest you to take a 300mm at least !

u/StealthSecrecy · 1 pointr/Corsair

I found this on amazon in MX Red. If you can find the model number of the one with the right switch and then search google for that you might find some options.

Was gonna say, these are still only $25 even without the Primday / Discounts I saw running earlier this week.

Just checked this morning on amazon, still running at $18.

Did some investigating. I'm starting to think it's a power issue. I've been using a surge protector with a battery backup (like this one) so that if my power goes out, my PC doesn't immediately shut off. It's been having issues recently whenever I had multiple things plugged in, so today I bought a new one that I can plug everything into without issues.

When I turned my PC on after replacing the surge protector, my keyboard's RGB colors turned on (for weeks it's just been the default red with white WASD), but I couldn't type my password in. Unplugging both keyboard cords and plugging them back in brought back the default red color scheme, but I could type again.

So, I have two hypotheses:

  1. These surge protectors can't supply enough power to my computer to fully power the keyboard, allowing only basic functionality and not advanced lighting

  2. My power supply doesn't have enough wattage to fully power my computer, and my keyboard's RGB lighting drew the short straw.

Gonna try plugging my computer directly into the wall to see if that resolves it. If not, I'll have to figure out the wattage of my PSU.

Yup, there's one used one on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-2x4GB-Desktop-Memory/dp/B004CRSM52 for $600... Newegg just says out of stock, seems like it's no longer in production which kind of sucks and doesn't make much sense since all the other corsair vengeance's are going strong.

Flames add more FPS! Also wasn't there a Disney princess version of this too?

EDIT: No, I guess I was thinking of the LCD TV.
