18. SE 12-Piece Stainless Steel Wax Carvers Set - DD312
Sentiment score: 2
Number of reviews: 1
Durable and long-lasting stainless steel constructionDouble-sided for a variety of shapes and uses6" average lengthBalanced weightGreat for carving, cutting, modeling, scraping, shaping, etc.
I have the Vector Nitro, the bigger $70 one. Great torch, but my igniter went out (common issue with this torch). So it could take a few clicks to get it to go or I need to use a flame to get it going. It does come with a lifetime warranty, so I can get it replaced but I'm lazy.
But I recommend you buy the Blazer GT8000. It's only $20 more and it will be so much better than the small torches. I would have bought it but the Vector torch was a gift
I also have a Blazer Micro Torch, great little back up torch. I've had it since 2012 and it still works great.
Butane open blasting is generally the cheapest. For 1oz of bud you'll want 4x 320ml cans of at least 5x refined butane. For the extraction chamber I've used many things, but find a stainless steel water bottle with a narrow mouth works well. I use 150-200 mesh screen over the mouth, use a hose clamp to secure it, and drill a small hole that one of the butane adapter tips will fit in, into the bottom center of the water bottle. Blast into a pyrex bowl floating in boiling water in a pyrex pan; degas the poop soup using a candle warmer. There are lots of howtos on open blasting on youtube, it's pretty simple.

Before the future awesomeness we're living in now where I can buy extracts at the dispensary, I open blasted between 4-6 oz a month for almost a decade. I had a custom blown borosilicate glass extraction rig that would fit an oz of broken-up buds into it that was the tits...

(I realize a press might be cheaper, but to make a "real" press that can do 1/4oz of bud at a shot wants $100 or more at Harbor Freight or the like...)
i seriously hope you arent dabbing directly out of the silicone puck or the parchment paper - they make these nice glass dishes specifically to handle the heat of a quartz NC - https://www.google.com/search?q=nectar+collector+dish&rlz=1C1GCEU_enUS820US820&sxsrf=ACYBGNQplCW9EGYhesSm7N-m8eVbWsAsRg:1567775852790&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj7yKuWpLzkAhUCTN8KHZhGDUMQ_AUIEygC&biw=1920&bih=937
i strongly suggest storing your concentrate in PTFE, glass, or at least avoid all porous containers like silicon. unless you like your terps leeching out of your concentrate, just sayin....

just dropping some knowledge that was shared with me on this sub a few yrs ago, dont mean to come off as a know it all, just trying to help
yea it sucks, i had to chuck a bunch of silicone too. but since i plan on dabbing exclusively for the rest of my life, i wanna limit repeated exposure to anything.
glass is great, so is ptfe(teflon). you can get a roll on amazon for like 30 bucks https://www.amazon.com/Oil-Slick-Labratory-Resistant-Alternative/dp/B00AWK04IQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1527378978&sr=8-4&keywords=ptfe i use glass jars for liquidy stuff and ptfe sheets for shatters. just beware they're both slightly less nonstick than silicone. freezing helps a lot tho
https://www.amazon.ca/Blazer-GT8000-Shot-Butane-Torch/dp/B000NCZU0A Hands down the best torch I have had, Going strong on 2 years now.
I highly recommend something like this
Never ever need to refill, just pop the empty can off, put the top on a new can and you're good to go.
I use this one and it has never failed. Just gotta make sure you are putting the sensor about an inch from the top of your banger. Don't use the laser to line it up, the laser is only to help aim at a large object from a few feet away!

https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Crystal-Glass-Cystal-Cleaner/dp/B01M0SKLVM
pricy, but less than a new nail, right? if you just use it to dip n swab like i do, one bottle will last you like six months of daily gram dabbing
https://www.amazon.com/Dark-Crystal-Cystal-Glass-Cleaner/dp/B01M0SKLVM
ISO wont do anything weather u soak or not. This is the miracle juice for keeping ur bangers clean.
This one's pretty good
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000NCZU0A/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1453005156&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX118_SY170_QL70&keywords=blazer+big+shot+gt8000
The Big Shot is the highest quality hand torch that I've ever used or seen anywhere, they're incredible. It's on Amazon for $53 right now. Unless the size is a huge problem, you wont find a better torch. If you do get a Big Shot the red piece of plastic that goes over the fuel knob is meant for traveling, I've known wayyy to many people who threw them out.
If the Big Shot is too big then go with the Big Buddy. Vetor are straight up relabeled Chinese designed torches, companies like Newport and Blazer at least design their own.
Oil Slick Sheet Labratory Grade PTFE Roll Solvent Resistant Alternative to Parchment Paper, 48x16" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AWK04IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_01XOBb1C5K69E
I’m pretty sure it’s this
Metal for sure, stainless is good enough. I don't care enough about my metal dabbers to spend more just to say I have a titanium dabber. $10 Amazon set got me basically every dabber end I could want.
Do yourself a huge favor and ditch those tiny-ass torches for a blazer
You can go on amazon, if you search “temp gun” the top ones are actually the same models that I bought from a head shop. Most people dab between 5 and 700 so I’d get one that can read in that range and maybe a little higher to gauge time.

This one looks just like mine and I think would do everything you need.
Just get one of those smoke buddies and you should be good to go!
Hot water soak/flush with PBW will have it good as new.
spend $10 and get a scale

also recommend getting the calibration weight
https://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-Scales-Calibration-Weight/dp/B002SVUBYE/ref=pd_bxgy_79_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B002SVUBYE&pd_rd_r=0TEQW4Z8WMGM258YEPNP&pd_rd_w=JxFfI&pd_rd_wg=S7PlN&psc=1&refRID=0TEQW4Z8WMGM258YEPNP
I should mention that I use a Russian MiG-35 jet engine for a torch. It helps heat evenly though, the flame almost engulfs the entire bottom of the banger.
Please, get a container for your swabs.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00837ZGRY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title This is the one I got that works well.
Pelican storm 2100 should be easily able to fit all your stuff nicely. $100 on amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001CD159E/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_415SCbMJVQ3K5
You should be concerned about protection. I had a case setup pretty similar to yours and dropped the backpack it was in. I got lucky and all it did was put a small chip in it but I can see a tentacle or two snapping off in a bad fall
Nope, no smell! That's all that's listed on the bottle. You can see the back label on the second image of the Amazon listing.
15$
