I have a small runner's belt that I use.

Cheap and reliable.

All I ever take in is phone, a card, and cash. It sometimes takes some creative placement, but I don't like to go without some mints and hand sanitizer. There isn't a more disgusting feeling than using a port-o-potty and not having a way to clean your hands, lol.

Ha, I so spaced on your username/who OP was, that I took a double take when the yt started playing. I had a good laugh about it. Thank you much for the YT link.

As /u/ontothenextusername said, I watched your flagpole vid specifically for EDCO2019 too. First time taking a flag to EDCO.

I ended up getting this one inside on day one and just left it in the locker for the rest of the weekend. It worked out well for what I intended https://imgur.com/x6za7Xa

VELU makes amazing ones that saved my life at Coachella. i have truly terrible allergies with occasional breathing problems and this one did a great job at actually protecting/filtering stuff instead of just being a cover. plus the designs are dope

For a fanny pack I would HIGHLY recommend This one. It is a runners pack so it doesn't bounce around (been there too), and it keeps your belongings close. I keep my phone in one side and my cash, ID, card in the other side. It also works as a great belt!

The wook flu after my first EDCO in 2014 was rough, lots of dust in my nose just like that. After that fest I bought a few masks and haven't had any problems since :) keeping the front of them wet seems to make them work better as well.

I second a phone lanyard, I got a waterproof one a while back for a river float and now I use it for festivals too. I know where my phone is at all times and I know it's safe from rain/spills etc. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072C9CS9Z/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_iTJIDbAZ4NJEF

There are a bunch on Amazon at different price points. I hear Eargasim is a good company but they are about $35. I found a more affordable pair on Amazon I'm going to be trying out. They come in a carrying case that can snap to keys.

The majority of people that get their phones stolen keep their phones in their pockets or easy to reach places. Fanny packs or pockets with zippers are usually the safest. I've also started carrying one of these - its a lanyard that allows you to keep your phone around your neck + has a pocket for a few cards/ cash so you don't need to bring a wallet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KYCQDUO/ref=sspa_dk_detail_2?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B01KYCQDUO&pd_rd_w=wlVPn&pf_rd_p=45a72588-80f7-4414-9851-786f6c16d42b&pd_rd_wg=ZsLlt&pf_rd_r=XWQMEEGYA7GPNKKR6HNJ&pd_rd_r=af651a3b-7522-4fca-a773-0efc75c539cc&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzRVFXQ1JNWUlPRzFJJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDUwNjg4MVhRSzU0VldHWE9QQyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNjE0OTQ4MkoySlcyUDg0S1hFQyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2RldGFpbCZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

I picked up a pair of these

I used this to attach it, but I got a different cord that was longer and could stretch.

Buy a tether for your phone. This is the one I use: BLACKRAPID Smartphone Tether It comes with a tether to hook onto a belt loop, or bottom of backpack strap when you don’t have a belt loop. The tether fits into any phone case. Leave phone in front pocket, never back pocket. I use this even when I go to the club.

This is the one we got! It shouldn't have a problem getting in. I know they say camelbaks with one pocket only are allowed but we've never had a problem getting in. I think they just don't want like huge school backpacks

It’s this one . I know it’s kinda ugly and plain looking but it’s cheap and extremely functional

I'd suggest getting the 9ft or 12ft one here.

At the end of the day you're going to be risking it if you go higher than that. Will the have tape measures? No, probably not, but they'll use the height of the entry-way to determine length.

It all depends on the security guard you get and how much of an ass they plan to be. I've been FINE with a 14ft but have also had it taken away in the past too, mixed experiences all around.
