Just got my jaybird x2 in from ebay and these things are fantastic once I got the right pieces for them. I'm wondering if we can put on these eargel pieces though to mimic the new comfortable apple ones though.

I purchased my roomate some of the SoundPeats wireless on amazon for $20 and while they sound absolutely amazing too they just feel so cheaply made but she doesn't care about aesthetics as much as me. I might even consider getting myself a pair for like hiking and such just so I don't have to worry about breaking my jays.

I am very tempted to get some of the bose wireless too just to compare them since they're very nice looking as well and alot of reviews put them on par with jaybirds but now that jaybird x3 and freedoms are $99 on sale.

Depends on which jaybirds you have though, the jaybird x3 will probably be your best bet since you can change up your base along with everything else to make the settings exactly how you want while knowing that you will still like the style and feel of them versus taking the risk on another set potentially $50-150.

Hey there!
I think that in that price range the combination of small and cordless is rather hard to find. However, I do happen to know two in that price range with good ratings. The first: Plantronics BackBeat go 2.
What I like about them is the price, and the fact that they have above average rating. In Europe the will cost you 60 Euros but in the USA (I checked the wallmart site) they only cost $34 (how unfair! :P)
I also checked Amazon and found a certified refurbished pair for only $19,99! There is also a version of the product with an included charging case, but in the case of wall-mart the price doubles, so that's a choice. The charging pack is actually a sachet with a build in powerbank... so you can get that cheaper.

Second: TaoTronics Bluetooth Wireless 4.1 Magnetic Earbuds
I have heard great things about these! They get an excellent rating, and they cost almost the same as the plantronics. On amazon they go for 37,99, they look in my opinion pretty good, and they look smaller in comparison to the plantronics.

I owned a pair of jaybird x2's but they broke and I got a refund, but now after doing some research for you I am genuinely thinking about getting a pair of TaoTronics!

I hope all of this helps!

Yea I still think we are a couple years out from true wireless earbuds being good for calls. As I stated above, my best suggestion is the Plantronics 5200 headset for calls and a cheap pair of TWEs for music. I tried the Jabra elite 65e neckband headphones but just not comfortable and not a fit for me. They were good for calls though and a decent option if that's your route.

The 5200 is very small to fit in your pocket so I just carry it with my blitzwolf twe when at the gym/running.

Hope it helps!

If anyone is looking for good, bassy earbuds (not in-ears), the Faaeal Snow-Lotus 1.0 is pretty incredible and available from Amazon for $10. Highly recommend.

I just reviewed these. they’re pretty solid. There’s also a variety by Anker, but they don’t sound as good.

u/sakishrist · 1 pointr/Earbuds

Yeah, I already did that, but the options seemed very limited. I guess I'll try these and see if they fit in the helmet. If not, I'll just return them. The rest just seem too cheap.

Thanks!

The Samsung OEM headphones have been working decently for me, and they're pretty similar to the Apple Earbud Design. Sure, the sound isn't great, but for $5, it's worth a try.

Hey, just wanted to say thanks for posting feedback for those. This is the only thing on reddit I could find mentioning them.

I'm looking to buy either that ENACFIRE or this RIODO and I can barely find anything for either of em.

u/DMonitor · 2 pointsr/Earbuds

Check these out They aren't the highest quality sound, but they're pretty damn good for the price range. They've lasted me nearly two years before I lost them. They held up extremely well. Still looked new when I lost them.

This is the exact thread I've been looking for.

I'm thinking of upgrading my Oneplus 3T to the almost-here 7T--but, of course, no headphone jack. I'm not sure if I want to put additional stress on the usb-c port by using an adapter, so I bought my first pair of true-wireless earbuds this week.

They sounded OK, except the mic quality sounded like I was speaking into a badger's ass.

When I emailed the company for support, they told me a) my hair might have been in the way. (Laughable.) or b) that perhaps I might try leaving the left earpod in place, while holding the right earpod near my mouth.

I'm returning them post-haste.

I'm an Android Dude and was under the impression (looking at all the Apple earpods in use) that wireless technology worked fine for making phone calls. Perhaps I was mistaken.

I'm wondering if I should try one of the necklace models--as that would get the mic nearer my mouth--and allow me to not have to futz with a usb-c-headphone adapter.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Have them. I use a C to C cable with this charger Amazon and they charge fine.

u/Pin-fox · 1 pointr/Earbuds

This one is about $30. If you need it, just PM me. I can give you 20% off code to you.

Commenting because I'm in the market for the best wireless earbuds ~$50 can buy lol.

Enacfire Future - These on the top of my list. Seems to be Enacfire's latest offering over the E19 and E18. Sucks cause they were $50 a couple days ago.

Jlab Jbuds Air - Considered these, but ultimately decided no since they're only BT 4.2 and the charging cable on the case is weird.

OP, I'm considering those Pasonomi's too, but they seem to be a generic earbud just re-branded. Check these out iKanzi & Another Copycat. I tried searching YouTube for reviews on the Pasonomi's, but everything seems to be in Japanese.
