DEWHEL JDM Front Bumper Tow Hook License Plate Mount Bracket Holder Tow Hole Adapter Bolt On for 10-16 Hyundai Genesis Coupe https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073W7X6SY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_.30NDb6VP7WBD

I was skeptical at first because the reviews said that it spins and that it doesn’t fit an Elantra but after taking the plunge it works perfectly. Fits exactly like it’s supposed to and doesn’t spin at all. Mine is hand tight and can still move but does not spin. Took maybe 10 mins to install because it has multiple mounting points so you can get it exactly where you want it. I have mine on the farthest left hole in the middle.

Nice, I have summit grey as well and this makes me want to wrap the trim red as well. I just did my interior lights, plate lights and back up lights with LED bulbs. Links in case anyone is interested, I get no flicker.

Unless the dash design has changed from 17 to 19, there’s a easy solution for a magnetic mount.

Edit: doesn’t have to be this exact mount from Amazon, just showing what possible.

These will fit. I just installed them and they fit within the weather cap:

I was thinking about something that plugs in to the cigarette adapter with a flex neck like this:

I was in the same boat you were. So many options and so many reviews its hard to tell what is real and whats not.

I ended up going with these for my 2015 Elantra.

I have been very pleased with them. My wife works nights and she wasnt happy with the stock ones. She has been very happy with them.

They have been installed for about 4 months with zero problems.

A couple of notes however, at least on the 2015 Elantra, the dust caps will not fit with these in. You will either need to buy aftermarket caps which are available for cheap on amazon or go without any. I don't have any currently and haven't had an issue with dust or water etc getting into my housings.

The tend to mess with your AM radio signal if you are trying to listen to a weak station. Stronger AM stations don't seem to have an issue. No issue listening to FM or Sirius, Cd etc.

So these links may or may not be available in India but here goes:

For the head unit you can use any single or double din head unit you want but you’ll need something like this https://www.walmart.com/ip/Fits-Hyundai-Elantra-2011-2013-Multi-DIN-Harness-Radio-Install-Dash-Kit/139857463?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=8959&adid=22222222228073528031&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=m&wl3=186802530458&wl4=pla-291268499731&wl5=9011246&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=115786984&wl11=online&wl12=139857463&veh=sem&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgY32wtqp5AIViYbACh2cWAI6EAQYASABEgLEVPD_BwE

And for the 12v extension mine is kind of like this

As far as identifying misfires, when you are going at a steady speed, you’ll notice your rpms will drop slightly. That is what happened when the coil packs went out. If the crank sensor goes out it will usually throw a check engine code, but you’ll also know by the car being hard to start (like try to start, stop, try again, try again and it starts) but it’s turning over fast, not slow like if it had a dead battery. The crank sensor is on the very front of the engine.’if you are under the car, run your hand up from the oil pan to the vertical face of the front of the engine and it’s a little plastic square there. I just pointed those out because in almost 100k miles between the cars, those are the only two unusual maintenance items that have come up.
